The weather in Greece
When is the best time to go to Greece? The weather in Greece in June hots up with average temperatures ranging from around 22°C to 28°C during the day, but it’s usually hotter in the southern regions and the islands, where temperatures can hit 32°C.
July is the hottest month with average daily temperatures ranging from 27°C to 35°C but the mercury can rise much higher. The islands and the coastal region around Athens enjoy welcome sea breezes which make it feel slightly cooler.
The weather in Greece in August remains hot and sunny (25°C to 34°C on average but can be much hotter).
