Founded in 2012, we originally specialised in city apartments following a trip to France in which TLTB founder Susie Marquis discovered the joys of a private city apartment in the heart of Paris and never looked back. Neighbouring an outdoor food market and equally tempting restaurants, the apartment not only offered more space to unwind but also the wonderful feeling of experiencing the city like a local while settling in and discovering the culture of the community. This passion for picture-perfect city stays has expanded into a one-of-a-kind and carefully selected collection of properties throughout Europe, including our luxury villa programme, specialising in impeccable homes along Italy’s Amalfi Coast and Tuscan countryside as well as the iconic French Riviera and Greek Islands.
As the TLTB community of travellers continues to grow, we are actively expanding to our portfolio with new homes in sought-after destinations and unique local experiences. Based in London and with over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, The Luxury Travel Book is made possible by a family of avid international travellers, Susie, Jamie and Freddie Marquis, all of whom share an enthusiasm for providing unparalleled service and luxury experiences for our guests hoping to find a home away from home.
