Located just 2 kms from charming Franschhoek village, the Villa L’Amitie luxury villa to rent in South Africa is a beautiful manor house on a wine estate, with stunning scenery of the valleys, the vineyards, and the surrounding mountains. Franschhoek offers boutiques, local craft markets, restaurants and art galleries, and also offers the famous Franschhoek Wine Trams’ experience, which guests can take to visit neighbouring wine farms as well.

The owners of the luxury villa rental have restored the property very sympathetically, in the style of the old Cape Dutch architecture, with the addition of all modern amenities, including air conditioning and underfloor heating. The living areas are both comfortable and beautifully furnished. There are four bedrooms in the main house, and a fifth bedroom in an attached cottage.  Each bedroom has a king-sized bed, air conditioning and en-suite bathroom, and amenities include a Samsung smart TV, USB ports, in-room safe, bathrobes and slippers, and complimentary Wi-Fi.  All the bedrooms also offer views varying from beautiful mountain and vineyard scenery, to the lovely Franschhoek Valley.

The ambience at the villa is one of relaxation, luxury and beauty. Outside on the terrace, is a private heated outdoor pool and terrace. Guests can relax in the sunshine on the pool deck, enjoy a glass of the estate’s wine, have a barbecue, or take a walk through the vineyards. For the more adventurous, there are the nearby Berg River Dam hiking trails, or a guided bicycle tour through the rolling valleys of Franschhoek, or enjoy 18 holes on the prestigious, Jack Nicklaus designed Pearl Valley Golf Course.
