Situated at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain with views of the entire Franschhoek Valley, this luxury villa rental in the Cape Winelands on the Boschendal Wine Farm is perfect for accommodating a group of up to 12 guests. The very private wine farm luxury villa has two living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large terrace that wraps around the whole property. The six bedrooms all benefit from air conditioning and stunning mountain views. An open plan dining area, perfect for entertaining in Franschhoek , opens onto the pool deck where wonderful views can be enjoyed with beautifully maintained gardens and lawns within the grounds.

With access to this historic Franschhoek wine farm, guests can join experienced guides on a morning farm tour, or explore the wine estate on foot. There are also world-class mountain biking and hiking trails to be explored, beautiful dams to swim in, and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the splendour of of the natural surroundings.  For young children there is a Tree House playground, and farm experiences are also offered to children under the professional guidance of the estate’s ‘Tree House’ team.

The estate also has a restaurant, the Werf Restaurant, where guests can enjoy delicious local and ethically prepared meals – and also a bar menu offering signature cocktails, a fine selection of wines and a delicious array of bar snacks and farm plates. Wine tastings for the estate’s wines can also be arranged. The luxury villa to rent is also available for private events and small intimate weddings. For smaller groups, the large estate has a number of smaller cottages to rent, ranging from 1 – 4 bedrooms. Regrettably no pets allowed. They have generators on the farm, so load shedding will not disrupt your stay.

This luxury property offers wonderful countryside and views of the Cape Winelands, and plenty of activities for guests ranging from farm experiences for children, hiking and biking, wine tasting, and just relaxing and enjoying the views. Franschhoek village located not much further with its endless list of restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries and museums. For the more energetic there are numerous walking trails in the surrounding Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve mountains, or a game of golf at the beautiful award-winning Pearl Valley golf course. There are also plenty of great restaurants with exceptional cuisine on century old wine estates to choose from, most with beautiful shaded outdoor seating areas where you can enjoy the magnificent views.
