Layout:

Communal area – The communal area is an impressive open plan space, stylishly finished, exposed wooden beams and bare stone walls with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing endless views of the surrounding nature. A fully equipped kitchen with double fridge freezer, an oven and breakfast bar, where meals can be prepared by a private chef and served at the large 12 seater dining table. Offering two sitting areas in this luxury villa rental, the winter lounge with a burning log fire is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of the property wine while the second lounge is great for a pre-dinner aperitif. Located outside in a separate room, you will find the gym, that includes weights, mats, running and cycling machines.

Games room – Has a snooker table and an Xbox for the older kids to enjoy.

Swimming pools – Both the plunge pool and swimming pool are heated throughout the seasons. Comfortable deck chairs by the swimming pool allow you to relax on holiday and enjoy the beautiful views of this Franschhoek vineyard. 

Bedrooms – The luxury villa rental comfortably sleeps eight adults and up to six children across 5 bedrooms all of which include an en-suite bathrooms with bath, shower and double vanity units. All have heating and air conditioning, TV’s and full stocked mini bars, as well as beds can be converted into twin beds.

Loft Suite – 70m2, the only room located on the top floor with a large en-suite bathroom, a bath and shower and French doors that open onto your own private terrace with panoramic views of the Dassenberg Mountains. It also has its own living area and plenty of wardrobe space too

Viognier room – 54m2, in a standalone building adjacent to the main house, with a perfectly situated private terrace to soak up the views of the vineyard and mountains. Fitted with a dressing table, living area, as well as an en-suite, featuring a cleverly designed indoor-outdoor shower according to your preference.

Chardonnay room 1 – 38m2, this room also has its own terrace. A spacious double bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space and drenched in sunlight, with views to the front and side of the house.

Chardonnay room 2 – a 42m2 bedroom with en-suite bathroom and mini bar, located off of the communal dining area.

Bunk room – 43m2 with French doors leading onto the front of the property, it has two double beds and two single beds as well as an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.

The luxury rental is perfectly positioned on the 39 hectare grounds at Mont Rochelle and the surrounding town of Franschhoek. Discover the Franschhoek Valley with its famous open air Wine Tram, a hop-on, hop-off service allowing you to visit some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates, serving fine wine and world class cuisine, with the back drop of the beautiful vineyards. Alternatively allow the staff to present a wine tasting in a variety of locations on the property. There are some exceptional bike routes that make it easy to explore the surrounding area. As well as moderate walks in the nearby Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve that vary from 3 to 8 hours. There are 6 Golf courses all within a 1 hour drive from the house, booking can be arranged upon request and is essential.
