This apartment is historically important because the architect was Buenaventura Conill Montobbio, a Catalan architect who was a good friend of Antoni Gaudi. Buenaventura Conill Montobbio also collaborated with Puig i Cadafalch (the elaborate building right next to the Casa Battló is one of his works) and was a part of the modernist movement during his time. Until now, the apartment has been owned by the Conill Montobbio family but is now available to rent.
