Situated just a 10 minute walk from Praia do Pego beach, the Dunas da Praia luxury holiday rental in Comporta offers a perfect base for a beach holiday with family and friends. Set in a peaceful location within a private condominium, this spacious villa rental in Comporta sits atop raised sand dunes, planted with flowering shrubs, indigenous grasses and shady trees. Decked pathways run all around the property, which also features a private swimming pool (12 x 4m) and terrace, pines, fig and olive trees, as well as some quiet spots to relax with a book, or a glass of chilled regional white wine.

The accommodation is in a main house, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and a garden cabana with one bedroom, bathroom and private terrace. Very light and spacious, the rooms open to terraces, and ocean inspired touches inside include light shades made of lobster traps and a sperm whale jawbone on the main sitting room wall.

Comporta’s spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed at a local beach bar, and there are a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The area is also great for exploring by bike and there is a surf school at Carvalhal beach, or horse riding at “Cavalos na Areia”. Comporta village with its hippy-chic shops and a wider range of restaurants is located 11 kms drive away.
