Originally a 16th Century farmhouse, the beautifully restored Villa Subtilia luxury villa to rent in Umbria sits in a hilltop position on a large estate. The spectacular views over the surrounding countryside also encompass the medieval castle of Antognolla, and its adjacent 18-hole championship golf course.  As well as a peaceful location, guests at the luxury holiday villa rental will be able to enjoy a wide range of local experiences. A concierge team is available to arrange everything from in-villa spa services, cooking lessons, wine tastings, biking trips, truffle-hunting excursions, and day trips to nearby hill towns. With a small grocery store just a 2 minute drive away, and the village of Pierantonio, a 10 minute drive, guests can purchase local produce to cook at their villa, or request a private chef, or enjoy delicious typically Umbrian dishes at the estate’s restaurant, Il Caldaro. A shuttle service to the restaurant for dinner can also be provided.

The accommodation comprises the main farmhouse, an adjacent apartment and a small cottage. Beautifully restored throughout, the main villa, with 6 bedrooms, features antiques, classic modern furnishings, magnificent wooden ceiling beams, and local tiles from nearby Deruta (famous for its beautiful pottery and ceramics) in the bathrooms. Further accommodation is in the Olivo apartment with 2 bedrooms. There are two well equipped kitchens, one in the main house and one in the cottage. The many amenities include air conditioning throughout, satellite TV and Bluetooth Sound Systems. There are also 3 DVD players, and high-speed Wi-Fi internet access throughout, including the garden and pool area.  The luxury villa to rent in Umbria also has a laundry room, and central heating is available on request.

Within the stunning landscaped gardens (10,000 m2) there is an infinity swimming pool, with separate jacuzzi, with views over the rolling countryside. The pool can be heated on request at no extra cost. The holiday villa rental also offers several outdoor living and dining areas, including a barbecue.

Bathrooms: 7 (6 en-suite, and 1 shared bathroom between 2 of the twin bedrooms in the main villa.

– Maid Service is provided in a time frame between 10am and 1pm, 6 days a week
– Full gardening and pool cleaning service.
– Pool heating is not included, and price is based upon consumption if requested. Pool heating is not available from November to April, subject to weather conditions.
– Outdoor Jacuzzi is always heated and included in the price.
– Weekly linen and pool towel change if guests stay for 2 consecutive weeks or more.
– Change of bathroom towels twice per week.
– Shuttle service to/from the Estate restaurant Il Caldaro (available every day for dinner time prior reservation) for up to 8 people maximum. Multiple round trips per villa are NOT available.
– 15% discount on the Antognolla Golf green fees and 5% discount on Golf Shop.
