Golf enthusiasts can also enjoy the adjacent 18-hole Antognolla Golf Course.

A small grocery shop is approximately two minutes away by car, while the village of Pierantonio can be reached in around 10 minutes. Guests can purchase local produce to prepare at the villa, arrange a private chef, or dine at the estate’s restaurant, Il Caldaro, which serves traditional Umbrian cuisine. A shuttle service to the restaurant can also be arranged for dinner.

The accommodation comprises a main house, an annex and a separate pool cottage, offering a generous combination of shared spaces and private areas. The spacious living room in the main house features a large arched window that fills the room with natural light, alongside a beautiful stone fireplace that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A well-equipped country-style kitchen provides everything needed for relaxed meals at home, while modern amenities include a large Smart LCD TV with Sky satellite television and sports channels, as well as a Bluetooth sound system. The main house is air conditioned, and high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa, gardens and pool area.

Villa Penna offers several beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces, with far-reaching views across the Umbrian valley. At the heart of the gardens is a spectacular 14m x 4m infinity swimming pool, which can be heated on request at no additional cost. A separate 4m x 4m shallow paddling pool provides a safe and enjoyable space for younger children.

Overlooking the main infinity pool, the pool house features a pergola furnished with sofas and armchairs, creating a comfortable setting for relaxing throughout the day. It also includes a stone-built barbecue, sitting room and dining table, making it ideal for long lunches and informal dinners beside the pool. The pool cottage also houses a convenient laundry room.

Within the landscaped gardens, a further outdoor dining area is equipped with a traditional wood-fired oven, providing the perfect setting for relaxed pizza evenings surrounded by the Umbrian countryside.

An original historic farmhouse, the villa has been renovated extensively, but retains its original charm. With a large garden and pool, the property also benefits from sensational views over the countryside.

A rental car is strongly recommended for independence both within and outside the estate. Cars can be arranged independently by guests or through the Concierge Team, including delivery to and collection from the estate.

Guests without their own or a rental car must rely on transfers arranged by Villa Penna for transportation within the estate. Taxis, Uber and third-party transfer companies cannot access or circulate within the estate.
