The beautifully renovated farmhouse Villa Monticelli luxury villa to rent in Umbria is one of 9 villas on a huge estate, benefitting from sensational views over the rolling countryside, including the medieval castle of Antognolla, and its adjacent 18-hole championship golf course. Surrounded by a private landscaped garden with century-old olive trees, lavender, and flowering shrubs, there is also an infinity swimming pool with a wide teak deck furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

Just outside the villa there is a furnished terrace with a pergola, a sofa, and a dining table and chairs, seating 10, where guests can enjoy leisurely breakfasts, lunches and sunset aperitivos in their own private surroundings. The interiors of the holiday rental in Umbria are both modern and elegant, with the accommodation being in both a main house (4 bedrooms – 10 people) and a guest house (2 bedrooms – 4 people).

The luxury villa to rent in Umbria offers a variety of local experiences for guests on request, ranging from in-villa spa services, cooking lessons and wine tastings, biking trips, truffle-hunting excursions, and day trips to nearby hill towns.  With a small grocery store just a 2 minute drive away, and the village of Pierantonio, a 10 minute drive, guests can purchase local produce to cook at their villa, or request a private chef. Guests can also enjoy delicious typically Umbrian dishes at the estate’s restaurant, Il Caldaro. A shuttle service to the restaurant for dinner can be provided.

Main House:

2 sitting rooms, one with a grand fireplace, large LCD TV (with Sky Italia television, cinema and, sports channels). A well-equipped kitchen complete with oven and cooker, fridge freezer and microwave oven. 2 bedrooms with king-size beds, each with en-suite bathroom. 1 bedroom with super king-size bed and with en-suite bathroom. 1 twin bedroom with 2 double bunk beds. Spacious laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Guest House:

Well-equipped kitchen for 4 people, Sitting room with fireplace, LCD TV with sports channels, a DVD player, hairdryer, high speed Wi-Fi internet access and air conditioning  2 king-size bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Maid Service 6 days per week (excluding Sunday and public holidays). Daytime concierge service. Full gardening and pool cleaning service. Extra services available on request: Concierge service for arranging local activities, grocery shopping service, extra maid service, personal laundry service, private chef, additional catering, meals at Il Caldaro. Heating is also available on request.

A welcome hamper awaits guests’ arrival with initial provisions including bottled water, tea, coffee (including Nespresso capsules), olive oil and dishwasher tablets. Bathroom amenities, including shampoo and soaps are also provided. Baby cot, high-chair and baby bathtub are available on request. Guests will also be able to enjoy welcome drinks at the Il Caldaro restaurant on arrival, and a 20% discount on the Antognolla Golf green fees, and 5% discount in the Golf Shop.
