The local produce of Etna is also exceptional, with superb local honey, hazelnuts, walnuts, strawberries, salami, mushrooms and pistacchios. Moreover, the villa is in a great location for anyone who wants to explore the cultural highlights of southeast Sicily, including Siracusa, Catania and the Costa dei Ciclopi. Anyone who loves outdoor adventure sports, with the area offering trekking, mountain-biking, pot-holing, river rafting and tubing as well as snorkelling, kitesurfing and water-skiing.

The interiors have been imaginatively designed keeping the original features of the masseria, including stucco and lava-stone walls and a typical external lava-stone staircase which carries you up to the main living area – yet adding adding high tech comforts to the minimalist Mediterranean living space, and a state-of-the-art design throughout. The living room, with high vaulted and frescoed ceilings, is divided from the dining area by a fireplace. The designer kitchen lies between the dining area and a glass-walled terrace, making both inside and outside eating equally effortless. A guest bathroom completes the living area.
