The Monte Tauro luxury villa to rent in Sicily sits perched on the ridge of Monte Tauro, directly below the town of Taormina. The wonderful views from every room, as well as the swimming pool and the panoramic terrace, stretch from the beach at Letojani to Capo Sant’Alessio. A flight of 100 steps leads directly to the centre of town, and there is also the ‘funivia’ (cable car) which connects the town with the sea. This luxury villa rental in Sicily is perfect for those looking for peaceful surroundings and incredible views, as well as the proximity of the town and beaches without having to drive.

The interiors of the villa feature a stunning fireplace framed by a massive 18th century stone portal in the large living room, and hundreds of rare majolica tiles (used on the treads of the stairs and in the bathrooms). The living room, with terracotta tiled floor and white sofas, has large glass windows opening to the terrace and pool. There is also a beautiful Sicilian kitchen with huge fridge, double range cooker, and zinc fittings, opening to the dining area. A staircase leads to the upper floor, with three double bedrooms. One has an en-suite bathroom, while the other two share a bathroom. All the bedrooms open onto a large panoramic terrace. There is also a studio, separate from the main house, with double bedroom, bathroom, and small kitchenette which has direct access to the pool (10 x 5m).

From the swimming pool, a flight of stairs leads down to a balcony. There are four further double bedrooms on this level, each with a kitchenette, a small living room and bathroom, a heated Jacuzzi and plenty of space outside for relaxing in the sun. The outdoor spaces at the villa also include a dining area, barbecue, outdoor showers, and sun loungers around the swimming pool, as well as a large jacuzzi.  Guests can enjoy relaxing in the Jacuzzi at sunset, sipping a drink while enjoying a panoramic view of one of the most outstandingly beautiful parts of Sicily.
