This Via Palermo holiday apartment accommodation in Rome is one of two apartments we have for rent in the same building, in the trendy, character-filled area of Monti, in the heart of the historic city. Originally a working class neighbourhood, Monti is increasingly attracting a young, creative and artistic population, with its interesting bookshops, cafes, organic food shops, restaurants and art galleries. The apartments are within a 15 – 25 minutes walk of the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the Roman Forum.

The apartment is on the second floor (with lift) and has three bedrooms (two master with queen size beds and the third with a mezzanine with two single beds). There are also three bathrooms, a living room, and elegant dining room and a well equipped kitchen. All the rooms have air conditioning, and there Sky TV, wi-fi internet, a washing machine, separate dryer and a dishwasher. Both holiday apartments have been decorated and furnished for comfort and luxury and, at the same time, provide a sense of elegant living in a grand 17th century Roman Palazzo. There are magnificent hand-painted 15th century ceilings and original terracotta floors as well as important works of art hanging in each room.

A luxury private rooftop terrace can be accessed by taking the lift to the 5th floor ,where there are stairs leading to the vast terrace, which extends over the entire rooftop of the building. It has three different sitting areas and two large dining areas with enormous palm trees and exotic plants dividing the areas. It is rare that more than two families are using the terrace simultaneously but, if so, it is such a large space, there is plenty of room. There are also views from here over some of Rome’s most significant sites such as the Colosseum and the Quirinale Palace. Although these holiday accommodation rentals are situated in the historic centre of Rome, because of their position, they are very quiet, with the bedrooms well protected from the noisy nightlife of the city. All guests are welcomed with a basket with wine and other special Italian treats.

Maid service on request. A chef can also be arranged on request. During the summer months the chef can prepare dinner ‘al fresco’ on the roof terrace. We can also arrange for specialized tours of the less known areas of Rome with a Professor of Architecture. These tours can run over several days, half days or a whole week. Also available are culinary mornings – guests the chef at Campo di Fiori for a morning shopping for produce and then back to the apartment to prepare and then enjoy together with the chef.
