This beautiful four story house to rent in Rome is situated in one of the most fashionable streets in north Trastevere, Via degli Orti d’Alibert. It has been depicted in paintings by many artists over the years, including Giorgio de Chirico and Filippo de Pisis. It is undoubtedly one of the quietest and most romantic non-through streets in the heart of Rome, and within a very easy walk from St Peter’s and the Vatican City, Piazza Farnesse, Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona.

In the 1940’s it became a famous candle factory, partly due to its proximity to the Vatican, until the current owners bought it in the early 1980’s and transformed it into a home. One of the huge advantages of this property is the 250m² of terraces, perfect for relaxing in the sunshine, or enjoying an evening drink and dinner.
