This luxury retreat in Rome features two well-appointed bedrooms, various seating areas, and three terraces overlooking the Campidoglio, Altare della Patria, Basilica di Santa Maria in Ara Coeli, and Piazza Venezia. The outstanding outdoor feature of Piazza Aracoeli is the imposing observation tower, originally built by Duke Mario Massimo as his personal astronomical observatory.

Furnished with the most lavish appointments imaginable, the interiors are meticulously curated and showcase Italian excellence. A special mention must be made of the hand-painted frescoes and panels depicting classical figures and timeless scenes. Additionally, the living room boasts a marble table, an exact replica of one owned by King Louis XVI of France, the last monarch of France (the original table, also owned by the homeowners, is situated at their residence in Paris).

This luxurious apartment for rent in Rome spans across three floors. From the street level, an elevator takes you to the entry floor. The entrance opens into a marvellous marble living room with formal seating areas, adorned with large windows overlooking Rome.

Living Room: There are a few sitting areas, boasting plush and elegant sofas and sitting arrangements. It also has a lift that goes up to the upper floor and opens into the kitchen.

Dining Area: Located at the end of the large hall, the dining area features a large marble table, a replica of one owned by King Louis XVI of France.

Media Room: Adjacent to the dining area, there is a gilded sitting room and studio, equipped with a desk and chair, a Smart TV and access to a small balcony.

One end of the living room leads to the bedrooms on the lower floor, while the other end provides access to the upper floor terraces and terrace dining room.

Lower Floor (Bedroom Area):

Master Suite: Accessible via an internal marble staircase, this incredible room includes a sumptuous sitting room and bedroom area. The bedroom features a regal draped canopy  bed (200X215cm) and large windows offering wonderful city views. The spacious marble ensuite has a shower and is located beneath the staircase. Additionally, there is a small balcony with stunning views of Rome. This suite also offers a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, coffered hand-painted ceiling, antiquities, and exclusive paintings depicting noble scenes.

Suite 2: This well-appointed bedroom  is just above the master bedroom and  has an independent entrance too if wanted. It offers a double bed and ensuite with a shower. Adorned with hand-painted frescoes exclusively commissioned to Italian contemporary artists, this bedroom offers a more intimate feeling with its window overlooking the interior courtyard.

Bathroom on the Mezzanine floor: This bathroom has a double sink and a whirlpool bath and is located on the Mezzanine floor.

Upper Floor/Terraces & Kitchen Floor:

The terraces, kitchen, and observation tower are located on the upper floor, accessible via stairs from the living room.

Terrace Dining Room: Fully air-conditioned, this dining room boasts a large marble table seating up to 8 guests, enclosed in glass panels that can be opened. Adorned with ancient friezes and marble busts, it offers a unique dining experience.

Kitchen: Easily accessible from the Terrace Dining Room, the well-equipped marble kitchen offers modern amenities and it perfectly matches the elegant style of the property. The kitchen is also accessible from the living room via lift.

Open Terraces: Easily accessible from the Terrace Dining Room, these terraces offer a bistro table and chairs, marble benches, and a bar counter with stools, making them ideal for breakfasts and late-night chats with incredible views.

Observation Tower: Built by Duke Mario Massimo, this incredible tower/terrace offers panoramic views of the historical centre of Rome.
