Set on a secluded stretch of Crete’s southern coast, just 2 km west of the village of Arvi, Meakis Beach West is a luxury villa in Crete that feels like your own private resort on the Libyan Sea. The 600 m² estate is spread across a main house, a guesthouse block and a guest room by the water. With 12 bedrooms for up to 28 guests and direct access to the beach, it suits large families, celebrations and groups of friends. The beach is so undisturbed that loggerhead sea turtles nest here every June, and the hatchlings make their way to the sea in mid-August.

Outdoor living is at the heart of this luxury Crete villa. The infinity pool looks straight out to sea and is surrounded by a sundeck with sun loungers. Heating is available on request for an extra charge. Four pergola-shaded terraces with built-in sofas and dining tables are set up for long lunches in the shade and dinners with the sea in front of you. Two terraces have a barbecue, one of them right by the water, and there is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen for al fresco cooking. A private path leads down to the beach, and stand-up paddleboards and canoes are provided for guests. Private parking is on site.

The main entrance opens onto a spacious open-plan living room with views over the sea and the mountains. It is furnished with a fireplace for cooler evenings and an 82-inch satellite TV. The living area flows into the dining room and a professional-grade kitchen that is equipped to cater comfortably for more than 28 people, with a dishwasher and everything a chef needs. High-speed Wi-Fi runs throughout the villa, and a washing machine is available for longer stays.

All 12 bedrooms have air conditioning, a TV and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Hair dryers, natural toiletries, fine bed linen and high-quality cotton towels are provided. The main house has five bedrooms over three levels: two with a double bed, two with three single beds, and the master bedroom on the top floor with a double bed. The guesthouse block has two family suites, each with two bedrooms sharing an en-suite bathroom. The first suite pairs a double room with a room of three single beds, and the second pairs a double room with a twin room. The guesthouse also has a bedroom with a double and a single bed, plus a further double bedroom. Completing the accommodation is a private double guest room by the sea with its own en-suite, just steps from the water.

Guests who want to stay active have gym equipment, Pilates balls and training weights to use. There is also a table tennis table, and guests have access to a brand-new tennis court, which must be booked in advance. Paddleboarding and canoeing are available right from the beach. Massages and beauty treatments can be arranged at the villa.

A housekeeper looks after the villa six days a week, with soft cleaning of the bedrooms and public areas. Bed linen is changed weekly. Pool cleaning, pool towels and a welcome basket on arrival are all included. For an extra charge, the concierge can arrange a private chef, daily linen changes, laundry, airport transfers, car hire, private yacht charters, excursions, villa pre-stocking, floral arrangements, a photographer and a doctor on call. Baby cots and high chairs are provided free of charge on request.
