Built at the turn of the 20th century and used as a family summer home for nearly 80 years, the villa is now a listed historical building and a well-known landmark on the Armação de Pêra coastline.

Moorish influences – such as geometric designs on the shutters and ceilings – reflect the region’s rich history. Although the property has been renovated, it retains many original features, including wooden flooring, a spectacular staircase, and antique chandeliers.

Despite its central location and luxurious interiors, the secluded villa offers a unique and authentic holiday escape. In the main house, a spacious kitchen opens onto the living and dining area, which leads to a beautiful terracotta terrace set in a stunning seafront location. The terrace offers direct access both to the beach and the historical town centre, combining the traditions of the Algarve – from the charming historic church square it overlooks, to the vibrant flavours of the beachfront restaurant located just below.

Location

Set in the heart of Armação de Pêra on Portugal’s Algarve coast, this villa is ideally positioned for a relaxed beach holiday with everything you need close at hand. The former fishing village is centred around a long, sandy beach with calm waters, while the seafront promenade is lined with restaurants, cafés and local shops.

The surrounding coastline is perfect for exploring, with beautiful beaches including Praia Grande, Praia do Vale do Olival and Praia de Nossa Senhora da Rocha nearby. The area is also well placed for boat trips, water sports and discovering the Algarve’s famous coastline and sea caves.

Armação de Pêra retains touches of its fishing heritage, particularly around the old fishermen’s beach and the historic fortress overlooking the sea. The nearby towns of Pêra, Alcantarilha and Silves offer further opportunities to experience the Algarve’s traditional villages, while Albufeira is around 14 km away for a livelier atmosphere and a wider choice of entertainment.
