A luxury villa rental in beautiful Alentejo, Portugal. Located in a private property of 4,5 hectares close to Estremoz, renowned for its high quality marble. The luxury villa rental is recognized by its white thick walls and concrete floors and four chimneys. Situated in a well preserved whitewashed village in the countryside, the luxury villa rental is a blend of early-century traditional architecture and contemporary design, traditionally built like the most houses in Alentejo with thick walls, that protect from the hot temperatures outside and fitted with shutters to ward off the sun even in the hottest days. It can accommodate up to 10 people (6 adults and up to 4 children or 8 adults). The area has great restaurants and wineries to visit while on vacation in Portugal, a perfect location for a relaxing in privacy.

Indoors – A large window faces a oak cork forest, providing the views from the large living room, fitted with a fireplace and and a Dyson cooler for warmer weather. The fully equipped kitchen seamlessly leads from here creating a communal space to eat and gather.
Bedrooms – Four Bedrooms total. Three of the bedrooms are fitted with king size double beds and all three are en-suite with their own toilets and local white marble showers surrounded by hand made tiles. There is a mezzanine room with a queen size bed as well as three single beds which is ideal for children. A fourth social bathroom with bath tub is also available.
Outdoors – The large outdoor deck is just a few steps away, situated in a peaceful location benefitting from wonderful views over the Alentejo countryside. The 11 x 5m swimming pool creates a seamless, soothing ambience. In addition there are three hot water showers that you can enjoy while watching the nature or if you prefer the stars at night.

There is an all-year-round farmer’s market on Saturdays at Estremoz Castle, which dates back to the 13th century, the all-year-round farmer’s market on Saturdays. There are several good restaurants and wineries in the vicinity. Don’t miss the Saturday Market which has local products from the region and antiques.
Vila Viçosa, just 30 min from Évora is a Unesco World Heritage Site. This charming town is located about 20 km from Estremoz, known for its stunning Ducal Palace, which was once the residence of the Dukes of Braganza. Visitors can also explore the town’s historic center, which has several beautiful churches and monuments.
Near the border of Spain is the Alqueva Dam, the largest artificial lake in Europe and Monsaraz, located about 40 km southeast of Estremoz. One of the most picturesque and well-preserved villages in Portugal, with white-washed houses and narrow streets, surrounded by fortified walls that offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Enjoy a range of water activities, including boating, paddle and swimming, take a moment to explore the surrounding nature and wildlife.
About an hour drive northeast of Estremoz, are two beautiful historic towns located in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, Castelo de Vide and Marvão. Both known for their stunning medieval architecture, and panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
Dating back to Roman times and is known for its beautiful castle, Castelo de Vide is a charming town. Located in the Jewish quarter with thermal baths. Castelo de Vide is also a great base for hiking and exploring the natural beauty of the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. Explore the town’s narrow streets, visit the castle and the 14th-century Gothic church or relax in the town’s many squares and gardens.
In Marvão there’s “Rail bike Marvão” offering breath taking views while cycling over the old railway lines, between oak trees, megaliths and wildlife.
