A highly decorative apartment rental on the piano nobile of a Palazzo, the interiors have recently restored to their original state, including the terrazzo floors and magnificent stuccoed walls and frescoes. Friedrich Nietzche once resided in this beautiful Venetian palazzo, and wrote several books here. The large library in one of the bedrooms plays tribute to him. The mix of period and contemporary pieces include antique chandeliers and mirrors from Murano, France and Italy, and curtains by the Venetian textile-designer Rubelli. A cosy and relaxing media room/library features ultra-modern audio-visual equipment and a vast collection of musical CDs, and also access to the terrace.

Use of the wine refrigerator is available by arrangement.

The Master Bedroom with a king size bed (180cm x 200cm) boasts a bespoke king-size bed and an adjoining bathroom with a luxurious bath, complete with a hand shower. The Alcove Bedroom (Nietzsche’s Room) with a king size bed (180cm x 200cm) is rich in history, featuring original wood paneling. To the left of the bedroom is a shower room with exquisite marble finishes, while to the right, a separate WC with a sink adds to the convenience. The Green Bedroom with a king size bed (180cm x 200cm) is another stunning space, enhanced by antique mirror wall panels from France, an en-suite bathroom, and a striking freestanding bathtub within the room, adding a touch of elegance and charm.
