The luxury Apartment Anice to rent in Venice is in a historic Palazzo, located in the San Polo district of Venice, on the square in front of the church of S. Agostino. It is very convenient for Rialto, famous for its bridge, fish and vegetable market, and also the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and the Chiesa di San Rocco. The San Polo district also has the highest concentration of traditional Venetian tavernas, or ‘bacari’ which serve the delicious Venetian ‘tapas’ called ‘cicchetti’, as well as a variety of wines from both the Veneto area and other regions of Italy. The ‘Ruga Rialto’, the main pedestrian street connecting the Rialto area to Campo San Polo is lined with a variety of shops, many still run by Venetian artisans selling locally-made goods ranging from Italian leather, to clothing, to accessories. On the ground floor of the Palazzo, there is a restaurant, and are several popular restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity.
The Palazzo has recently been renovated to create nine luxurious rental apartments, each of which is named after one of the spices which started arriving in Venice from 1200, transforming its cuisine, its economy, its art and its lifestyle. Located on the second ‘piano nobile’, Anice is the largest and most spectacular apartment in the Palazzo. The accommodation comprises a large living room, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a dine-in kitchen, and beautiful canal views. Towering ceilings and stylish custom-made Italian furnishings make this apartment particularly special, with the interior design featuring beige walls and white beamed ceilings. A harmonious palette of muted greys and blues is used in the bedrooms to offset the neutral colours. The flooring is terrazzo marble, while furnishings and cushions are in hand-painted fabrics by Fortuny and Rubelli. Ornaments include Murano glass designer vases.
3 bedrooms & 1 Extra Bed – Up to 7 Guests
Situated on the second floor of Palazzo Morosini, Anice is the largest and most impressive apartment in the residence. With high ceilings, exposed beams, and elegant furnishings, it seamlessly blends Venetian charm with modern luxury. Upon entering, guests are welcomed into the grand living room, where two French windows with balconies overlook the charming St. Agostin canal. The 6.45-metre-high ceilings, painted a refined dove-grey, are elegantly framed by bronze stucco moulding, enhancing the room’s sense of space and grandeur. This central gathering space serves as a stunning focal point of the apartment, perfect for relaxation and entertainment.
The first bedroom is located to the right of the living room, this room is bathed in natural light from four large windows that overlook the canal and square. The tall beamed ceiling, also painted in dove-grey, adds to the airiness of the space. Its en-suite bathroom is a luxurious retreat, featuring a large tub crafted from Istrian stone.
the second bedroom is positioned to the left of the living room, this elegant bedroom boasts three large canal-facing windows. The walls are adorned with Rubelli fabric, adding a touch of Venetian opulence, while the beamed ceiling is painted in the same soft dove-grey hue. The en-suite bathroom features a spacious shower, offering both style and functionality.
The third bedroom & bathroom are accessible via an independent hallway, this bedroom enjoys peaceful garden and canal views. Both the bedroom and the accompanying bathroom are finished with light oak flooring, adding warmth and a contemporary touch to the space.
The spacious dine-in kitchen is thoughtfully designed, overlooking the palazzo’s inner courtyard. It is fully equipped with two ovens and a wine cellar, making it ideal for guests who enjoy cooking or entertaining. With ample space for dining, it provides a comfortable setting for shared meals while maintaining an elegant Venetian ambiance.
