The luxury villa rental was built for Wanda Ferragamo, Salvatore Ferragamo’s wife in 1963 by the famous Italian architect Ugo Miglietta, today the Tuscan villa belongs to her grandson Salvatore Ferragamo junior. Surrounded by 10 acres beautiful private garden on the Tuscan seaside. The luxury villa rental is situated in a in a private gated community with controlled access, immersed in a beautiful pine tree forest, on a private beach, making the ideal for families interested to spend a holiday in an exclusive but natural environment. Sleeping 14 guests plus 4 staff across 7 master en-suites and 2 service suites in the basement.

Inside: The main entrance of this Tuscan villa leads into a beautiful living and dining room, with fireplace and a study and TV room. The dining room has large French windows that look out on to the terrace and garden. The beachfront side of the villa has two living corners with couches and a large table for outdoor dining. On the garden side is a new kitchen that leads out to a smaller more intimate outdoor living and dining area. There is a large terrace that surrounds the entire house. The lower floor has a large garage that fits two cars, a laundry room, a pantry room that has 2 extra fridges.

Bedrooms: There are 7 en-suites bedrooms all located on the main floor of the luxury villa rental. 6 of the bedrooms have king sized beds, while the last has two twin beds that can be put together if required. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, three have a shower and bath, as well as a guest bathroom. In the basement there are two staff bedrooms, one with king bed and the other with two twin beds. There are two bathrooms with a bath the other only a shower for the exclusive use of the guest’s villa staff.

Outdoors: A beautiful lawn and garden surrounded by a pinewood forest with a spacious stone terrace planted full of geraniums. There is a large patio on the beachfront side of the villa that overlooks the pool area, with a 90 meter path that leads from the terrace or pool all the way to the beach. For guests convenience there is a private beach bungalow and a changing area.

The luxury villa rental is in a private gated community in Tuscany with a gate and guards with 24/7 security with no access codes needed. Located near the town of Castiglione della Pescaia, which is in the heart of the Grosseto Maremma, the nearest grocery store and restaurants are a 5 km drive away.

Beaches: Only a few steps (100m) from the sea and the beautiful long white sandy beach of Roccamare, considered one of the most beautiful beach in Italy with European blue flag status, guaranteeing crystal clear and clean water. Follonica, Punta Ala, Principina and Marina di Grosseto are nearby seaside resorts.

Archaeological areas: Vetulonia (25 km away) and Roselle (32 km drive) are important sites of historical and artistic interest. The medieval village of Massa Marittima is 42 km away and has an Archaeological Museum and the Mining Museum. Abbey of San Galgano is one of the most representative examples of Cistercian Gothic style in Italy and only 73 km drive by car, famous for the presence of the “sword in the rock” and an absent roof. While the abbey of Sant’Antimo is one of the most beautiful Romanesque constructions in Italy.

Nature: Maremma has many parks and nature reserves. One of the most important wetlands in Italy is Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve (7 km away). Rimigliano is a 50 km drive, with crystal clear water and uncontaminated nature. Parco Costiero della Sterpaia is characterized by a landscape full of woodlands and marshland (34 km drive away). Uccellina Park (43 km away), the Maremma Regional Nature Park, an uncontaminated paradise of many animal species.

Wellness: Relax in several spas that are available in the area. The thermal baths of Venturina (41 km away), Calidario (a 44 km drive), Saturnia (80 km from the villa) and Sorano (112 km away).

Sports: There are two tennis clubs near the villa and the excellent golf courses of Punta Ala, Pelagone and Argentario.
