Villa Marie is located just outside of Lucca in the Tuscan countryside, a beautiful 18th-century villa rental offering luxury facilities. The recently renovated Tuscan property allows plenty of space for guests to enjoy the many modern facilities of the luxury villa rental with a lift linking all floors. It offers lounges for reclining, located on each of the three main floors, a cosy library for reading, dinner parties in the formal dining room, or prepare authentic dishes in the traditional country-style kitchen while on vacation in Tuscany. The luxury villa rental sleeps up to 12 guests (with additional space for 6 guests in the dependence), all of the bedrooms have king or queen-size beds, which can be converted to twins on request. The various outdoor living spaces allow guests to soak up the panoramic Tuscan views while dining al fresco, or relaxing with a glass of bubbly at sunset. While the over two hectare grounds include a swimming pool, a private lake and several themed gardens. Featuring a gazebo with a romantic canopy of white wisteria, alternatively wander around the art garden. The working gardens produce fresh organic vegetables used by the villa chef, with rows of olive trees used to produce extra-virgin olive oil, and in true Italian style the lemon grove and a kiwi pergola produces delicious juices, dried fruits and – naturally – limoncello.
Ground Floor: Has unobstructed views from north to south, right through the living and dining rooms, as well as the kitchen and library.
First Floor: An intimate salon is surrounded by three bedroom suites with marbled bathrooms, boasting magnificent views of the estate’s gardens, the ancient towers of Lucca, as well as the ‘Il forno’ building.
Second Floor: Has three charming bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms as well as a common living room.
Basement: Where the spa area is located, offering a heated swimming pool with hydro massage jets, a sauna, a hammam and spa treatment room, as well as a relaxation lounge. A well-stocked wine cellar is also found on this level.
There is a comfortable and well-appointed separate dependence with sleeping space for up to six additional guests. It features three double bedrooms, a living room and a kitchenette. Best suited for teens or those travelling with staff.
