The stunning seafront Villa Castiglioncello luxury villa to rent in Tuscany sits nestled amongst oak trees and other local vegetation on the beautiful coastline south of Livorno. The charming seaside resort of Castiglioncello, with its shops and restaurants, is just a 10 minute drive from the highway, and there are plenty of opportunities in the area for hiking, canoeing, and boat trips to the islands. Day trips can also be taken to famous Tuscan towns and cities, including Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Lucca.

A large 100m² terrace, with a comfortable seating area and an outdoor dining area (seating 8), just outside the villa, benefits from the views of the Mediterranean Sea, including the islands of Gorgona, Capraia and, on clear days, as far as Elba and Corsica. A path leads down to the magnificent infinity pool (12 x 5m), situated right on the coast overlooking the sea. The pool terrace is furnished with relaxing sun loungers, and has a changing room, shower and ping pong table. It is also possible to swim in the sea, via 15 steps down from the property, to a platform with sun loungers and direct access to the sea.

Built into the cliffside, the accommodation is on several levels. The living room features high ceilings and large windows, and is tastefully furnished with classic furniture, as well as having a vast open fireplace and a piano. The living room opens to the huge terrace through large French doors. Off the living room there is a country-style dining room, kitchen and pantry. The bedrooms are in three separate areas, with all bedrooms, except the single bedroom, having air-conditioning. Note: Due to the configuration this villa it’s not suitable for children under 12. The caretaker lives on the property in a separate apartment.
