Villa Guappi

Villa Guappi is a recently restored traditional casale and retains the essence of a traditional old farmhouse in Puglia, while meeting the highest standards of comfort.

Nestled in 4 hectares of land and surrounded by ancient olive groves and almond trees, Villa Guappi comprises of the main building and two ancient trulli (that are still untouched).

The environment is the foremost priority for the owner of this luxury villa for rent in Puglia, and all electricity is provided by a large photovoltaic system situated on the terrace. Villa Guappi also boasts an organic vegetable orchard that guests can take advantage of (depending on seasonality and availability) and an EV charger at full disposal of the guests.

The interiors of this eco-friendly villa, situated in the outskirts of Ostuni, blend natural and local materials such as cocciopesto, an ancient local technique with the visual effect of resin, but completely natural, and chianca stone, typical of the Puglia region.

The furnishings are a mixture of contemporary and original antique pieces that once belong to the owner’s family. All of the three bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with emotional showers and one of them also features a hammam.

Among the outdoor highlights of Villa Guappi, there are two verandas and one courtyard, aia. One of these areas is also covered by a bamboo roof that offers shade and an outdoor seating area for guests to enjoy during sunny summer days or indulge in delicious local meals.

The generous swimming pool can be heated upon request and overlooks the incredible Mediterranean countryside, with its aromatic plants and scents framing this picture-perfect luxury retreat.

This luxury spreads over two floors connected by stairs, is fully air conditioned and boast  special treated parquet with ancient effect all throughout.

Kitchen: this spacious area is directly connected to the dining room and is fitted with a well-equipped kitchen with the most modern amenities and a large floating countertop that can be used as a cooking space or to enjoy breakfast.

Dining area: this room interconnects the kitchen and living room and boasts a glossy MDF dining table and chairs and has direct access to one of the verandas.

Sitting room 1: The sitting area is tucked away on the left of the living room and provides a cosy space for guests thanks to its sumptuous sofas and Smart TV.

Sitting room 2: the second sitting room has a very intimate feeling and boasts a two seats sofa, designer armchairs and a an original stone fireplace that adds a touch of mystery to this room.

Bedrooms

All of the three bedrooms are fully airconditioned and offer stunning views. The Mandorli Suite is located on the ground floor, while La Terrazza and Ulivi suites are located on the first floor and accessible via stairs.

Mandorli Suite/Master: this large bedroom (30sqm) features a double bed  (160cm x 190cm),  a wardrobe and also has independent access and a stunning view of the almond groves. Its ensuite has double sink, a large walk-in shower, a Turkish bath or hammam and also has direct access to a private terrace that isn’t shared with any of the other bedrooms.

Suite Ulivi: this bright and spacious bedroom (50sqm) is located on the first  floor of the house and accessible via stairs. It also has independent access  features a double bed (160cm x 190cm), wardrobe, bedside tables, desk, armchair and incredible views of the surrounding countryside. Its ensuite features a bathtub that also share the same view on the almond groves, a shower and a double sink.

Suite La Terrazza: this bright and spacious bedroom (50sqm) is located on the first  floor of the house and accessible via stairs and it features a double bed (160cm x 190cm), wardrobe, bedside tables, desk, armchair and incredible views of the almond groves and swimming pool. Its ensuite features a bathtub that overlooks the countryside, a double sink and a spacious emotional shower.

Outdoors highlights:

Two verandas (45sqm) and one courtyard: All of these areas are at full disposal of the guests and one of them is directly accessible from the dining room via a large glass door.

The first veranda is covered by a bamboo roof and overlooks the swimming pool area and countryside. It offers a generous outdoor dining table with chairs that sit six persons. On the right side there is a large L-shaped wicker outdoor sofa.

Swimming Pool (40sqm): The swimming pool area is accessible via three steps and boasts a generous 40sqm swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and an outdoor showers. The swimming pool can be also heated upon request and with an extra fee.

€4,000 - €7,000 per week

• Final cleaning: the cost of the final cleaning is compulsory for every reservation  350€, for each stay even if it is shorter than a week. If the stay is longer than a week then the cost is 300€ for cleaning that will include house cleaning, change of linen and towels, pool and garden cleaning.
• Cook Service (breakfast, lunch and dinner): can be organised upon request with an additional charge. There is a partnership with Vettor Restaurant, Bari for small events and high-end dinners.
• Pool Heating: the pool can be heated with an additional charge
