Villa Guappi is a recently restored traditional casale, retaining the authentic character of a historic farmhouse in Puglia while offering the highest standards of modern comfort.
Nestled within 4 hectares of land and surrounded by ancient olive groves and almond trees, Villa Guappi comprises a main building and two original trulli (which remain untouched).
Environmental sustainability is a key priority for the owner of this luxury villa to rent in Puglia. All electricity is generated via a large photovoltaic system located on the terrace. Villa Guappi also features an organic vegetable garden, which guests are welcome to enjoy (subject to seasonality and availability), as well as an EV charger available for guest use.
The interiors of this eco-friendly villa, located on the outskirts of Ostuni, showcase natural and local materials, including cocciopesto – an ancient technique with the appearance of resin but entirely natural – and chianca stone, a hallmark of the Puglia region.
The furnishings are a curated mix of contemporary pieces and original antiques that once belonged to the owner’s family. Each of the three bedrooms includes an en-suite bathroom with an emotional shower, and one also features a private hammam.
Outdoors, Villa Guappi offers two verandas and a traditional aia courtyard. One of these spaces is shaded by a bamboo roof, creating a serene outdoor seating area where guests can relax on sunny days or savour local dishes al fresco.
The generous swimming pool, which can be heated upon request, overlooks the stunning Mediterranean countryside, surrounded by aromatic plants that enhance the villa’s idyllic atmosphere.
Villa Guappi is the perfect luxury retreat for families seeking both relaxation and the opportunity to explore the many treasures of Puglia. Some of the region’s most sought-after destinations – such as Ostuni, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, and many of Puglia’s finest beaches – are just a short drive away.

Nestled in the sun-drenched region of Puglia in southern Italy, this location places you in the heart of Ostuni, famously known as La Città Bianca (The White City). Perched atop a series of hills just a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, Ostuni is celebrated for its labyrinthine streets, whitewashed houses that gleam under the Mediterranean sun, and a charming old town that feels suspended in time.
From your location in the historic center, you’re just steps away from Piazza della Libertà, the bustling square that serves as the town’s social hub, and the Ostuni Cathedral, a 15th-century architectural jewel with a breathtaking rose window. The surrounding alleyways are lined with artisan shops, gelaterias, wine bars, and trattorias serving traditional Apulian dishes made with local olive oil and seasonal produce.
