Originally built in 1901 by an American Admiral, this stunning luxury holiday home on Lake Como was completely reconstructed in 2005 and elegantly refurbished in 2019. The villa rental comfortably accommodates 20 guests and comes fully staffed offering the ultimate luxury stay. The property sits within picturesque private parkland with a heated pool, tennis court and gym on the property.

This luxury vacation rental on Lake Como is known today as a gallery of design on the lake. The interior designer’s creative style, which has been termed ‘evergreen’, features American and Italian works from 1950’s to 2000. Guests will be living with masterpieces from famous architects Lloyd wright, Philip Johnson and Van der Rohe and designer furniture and carefully selected artwork can be found throughout the villa.

The villa rental’s 9 spacious bedrooms are all light and airy, with two or three large windows overlooking the lake and gardens. Rooms are set over four floors, all accessible with a private lift. There is a guardian cottage with three double rooms, hosting the resident staff, with space for guests’ staff.

The villa’s design offers luxurious living spaces across multiple floors, each with distinct features to enhance both comfort and elegance.

The Second Floor is home to Three Bedrooms. The first is a suite with a twin/double bedroom, offering the flexibility of adding an extra single bed. This room opens up to a private terrace with a stunning view of the lake and garden, perfect for relaxing. The suite is complemented by an en-suite bathroom featuring a large shower. The second and third are double bedrooms, which share a spacious bathroom with a double shower. One of the double bedrooms overlooks the garden and has a private bathroom for added privacy.

The Third Floor showcases a magnificent Master Bedroom suite, featuring a king-size round bed and three large windows that provide panoramic views of the lake, including the scenic Golfo Venere and the famous Balbianello area. The room also boasts a double balcony, offering an extended view of the surroundings. The suite is accompanied by a large walk-in wardrobe with floor-to-ceiling mirrors and a dedicated dressing room. The Carrara Perfect-white marble bathroom adds a touch of luxury, with a large 2×2-meter shower. In addition, there is a One Bedroom on this floor with two large windows and a balcony overlooking the lake. This room includes a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with Brazilian brown and white marble, featuring another 2×2-meter shower.

The Fourth Floor offers a variety of sleeping arrangements allowing Three Bedrooms. There is a twin bedroom, along with two double en-suite bedrooms. One of the double bedrooms comes with its own studio space, while all three bedrooms share a bathroom. This floor is ideal for families or larger groups seeking both privacy and shared spaces.

The villa is further enhanced by a charming, fully Independent Cottage located within the park. This self-contained unit features a kitchen and bathroom, and a Rooftop Bedroom designed for two adults, offering a cozy and private retreat.

For staff accommodation, the Guardian House is situated at the entrance of the property. It includes two apartments, one of which is dedicated to the resident staff. This staff apartment can house up to six people, featuring three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, and a laundry area, ensuring that the guests’ staff is well-catered for during their stay.

This villa offers both opulent and practical spaces, ideal for hosting guests while providing comfort and privacy on each floor, making it a truly unique and luxurious property.
