Situated right in the very heart of Florence, these stunning Italian luxury serviced apartments and suites to rent are in a historic Palazzo, dating from the early 16th Century, when it was owned by one of the most influential families of the day, the Vecchietti family. In 1578 Bernardo Vecchietti commissioned the sculptor Giambologna to restructure the building and, still intact today, are the façade, and the renowned “Satiro” statue and flag holder that resembles the legendary mythological figure. Other features still intact include the exposed stone wall in the entrance hall, and , and the majestic “kneeling” windows that are typical of Renaissance Tuscany.

The accommodation consists of two apartments, three Suites, two Junior Suites, two Superior Rooms and Five Deluxe Rooms, all named after famous Italian artists. Many of the spacious rooms have fireplaces, sculptures and paintings, while modern features include bright striped rugs on the wooden floors, modern bathrooms and kitchens, and luxuriously comfortable sofas and beds, upholstered in rich fabrics and colours. Each room is unique, stylish and luxurious, while also having all the warmth and comfort of a very special private home.

The sizes of the apartments, suites and rooms vary, but all offer the following amenities: Telephone and high speed internet, air conditioning/heating, satellite and Pay TV, safety deposit box, radio alarm with I-pod speaker. Each also has either a kitchen, or hideaway kitchenette, equipped with fridge, dishwasher, electric ceramic hob, extractor hood, cutlery and crockery, a Nespresso coffee making machine and coffee capsules. Friendly and helpful staff offer a 24 hour concierge service, and can arrange tours within the city, or out to the Tuscan countryside. Baby cots can be provided and there is a laundry service on request. American breakfast is included and can be taken in the privacy of your room, or in the majestic Sala Vespucci with its wide windows, antique marble fireplace, and a communal large oval dining table. This room can also be used for meetings, receptions or private lunches. For those arriving in Florence by car, there is an agreement with a local garage that offers valet parking. Airport and train transfers also arranged. A welcome glass of prosecco is offered on arrival.

APARTMENTS

Lorenzo il Magnifico (92m²) This majestic apartment features stunning skylights, framed by traditional beamed ceilings, and a deep blue color scheme that adds a regal touch to the space. The apartment includes a bedroom with a double bed (which can be converted into twin beds), a cozy living area with a double sofa bed, two armchairs, a dining table with chairs, and a hideaway kitchen. There are two bathrooms: one attached to the bedroom with a bath, and another equipped for disabled access with a shower and Turkish bath, offering an elevated level of convenience and luxury.

Leonardo Da Vinci (100m²) The spacious Leonardo Da Vinci apartment includes two living rooms, one with a charming stone fireplace and the other furnished with a sofa-bed, four armchairs, and a dining table. The private bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and an elegant kitchen that leads to a 32m² private terrace, providing lovely views of the internal courtyard. One bathroom is located off the living room and includes a shower and Turkish bath, while the second, accessible from the bedroom, features a bath.

Note: These two apartments can be connected to create a larger space, perfect for larger groups or families.

SUITES

Giotto (73m²) This suite features high ceilings and windows overlooking the Via Vecchietti, offering ample natural light. The living area is furnished with an elegant fireplace, a sofa-bed, and two armchairs. The kitchenette, dining table, and chairs provide all the necessary facilities, while the double bedroom is complete with an en-suite bathroom featuring both a bath and shower.

Donatello (75m²) Donatello suite has high ceilings and large windows offering views of Via Vecchietti. The living area includes a fine marble fireplace, a sofa-bed, two armchairs, a dining table with chairs, and a kitchenette. The double bedroom is complemented by a bathroom featuring a rain shower, ensuring ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Petrarca Suite (65m²) Featuring high ceilings and elegant blue furnishings, the Petrarca suite offers a private terrace with panoramic views of the rooftops. The living room includes a sofa-bed, kitchenette, and retractable dining table with chairs. The double bedroom, which can be set up as twin beds, is supported by two bathrooms, one with a toilet, bidet, and sink, and the other with a shower and Turkish bath.

Vasari (58m²) This suite offers plum-colored furnishings and large windows with splendid views of Via degli Strozzi. The double bedroom, which can be converted into twin beds, leads to a living room with a sofa-bed, two armchairs, and a dining table. The kitchenette is discreetly hidden, and there are two bathrooms—one with a toilet and basin, and another with a shower.

Giambologna (56m²) The Giambologna suite offers a bright and elegant space with two large windows overlooking Via Vecchietti and Via degli Strozzi. Brunelleschi (41m²) This deluxe room offers a soft lavender color scheme and courtyard views. It features a living area with a sofa, dining table, and chairs, along with a hidden kitchenette. The double bed is complemented by a bathroom with two basins and a rain shower.

Michelangelo (40m²) Michelangelo is adorned with high ceilings and pale lavender décor, overlooking Via degli Strozzi. The living area includes a decorative marble fireplace, sofa, dining table, and kitchenette. The double bed and bathroom with a rain shower complete the room’s elegant design.

Cimabue (41m²) Cimabue offers large windows with views of Via Vecchietti and a beautiful plum-colored palette.
