5 Bedrooms – Up to 9 Guests

The villa is a grand and beautifully restored property, with each space thoughtfully designed to reflect both history and luxury. Spread across multiple floors, it offers distinct areas for living, relaxation, and entertainment, all seamlessly connected while maintaining individual character.

As you enter the villa on the Ground Floor, you are greeted by an open and expansive Living and Dining Area that has been elegantly divided into two distinct spaces. The dining area features a Tuscan oak table, surrounded by an impressive bookshelf and framed by Neapolitan Rococo mirrors. Antique paintings hang on the walls, further enriching the atmosphere with historical charm. Adjacent to this area is the living room, where the focal point is the enormous double fireplace, complete with hearthside benches, all contained within a grand stone frame. This space combines modern luxury with antique elegance, offering a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Connected to the living room is the Kitchen, a blend of Arcadian charm and modern convenience. The antique stone archways conceal high-end appliances, while marble sinks and a traditional stone fireplace complete the rustic yet refined look. A large wooden cabinet from the Baroque period adds to the timeless beauty, and two bread and pizza ovens are embedded directly into the thick stone walls, adorned with antique majolica tiles, adding a touch of Italian heritage to the space.

Descending to the Lower Floor, you enter the Salus Per Aquam area, a private spa retreat that invites ultimate relaxation. The centerpiece of this space is an indoor pool, lined with traditional Amalfi Coast majolica tiles. The pool features massage jets on both the walls and seats, as well as a soothing massage waterfall and swimming current, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The wellness area also includes a sauna and Turkish bath, replacing the ancient Roman calidarium and frigidarium. These modern spa facilities are complemented by a treatment and massage area, offering a serene environment for personal care. Direct access to an outdoor terrace with a sundeck and jacuzzi provides an additional layer of luxury, completing the villa’s private spa experience.

The Upper Floor is home to two beautifully appointed suites, each offering its own unique character. The first suite, dedicated to Alfonso of Aragon, is a true homage to 17th-century opulence. Restored painted ceilings and frescoed walls are the backdrop for ornate antique furniture, with mirrors and paintings depicting seascapes, bringing the sea breeze into the room. The second suite, dedicated to Queen Isabella, offers a spiritual and tranquil retreat. Its private altar, starry ceiling, and sacred paintings evoke a sense of serenity, creating an intimate atmosphere of reflection and peace.

Both suites offer luxurious comfort and historic elegance, each with its own charm and beauty, making them the perfect spaces for rest and relaxation.

The Attic Floor offers two double rooms tucked beneath thick wooden eaves, each designed in a soft, understated style. These rooms, while not as grand as the suites below, provide a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for guests seeking privacy or a more serene environment. They are beautifully decorated in a minimalist style that allows the natural charm of the wooden beams and the soft lighting to create a welcoming ambiance.

A central feature of the villa is the grand staircase, a true architectural masterpiece. It is adorned with colorful stucco decorations, statues, and vases that are nestled into niches, creating a stunning visual experience as you move between floors. The staircase connects the various levels of the villa, offering an elegant transition from one space to another.

At the rear of the villa, the grounds unfold in a lush and Inviting Garden, featuring a traditional volcanic stone pathway that leads through flowerbeds planted with citrus trees, bougainvillea, jasmine, and roses. The garden is also home to an organic vegetable and herb garden, providing fresh produce for the villa’s kitchens and offering a natural, sustainable touch to the property.

The Alfonso Suite is a highlight of the villa, offering frescoed ceilings from the 1700s and a private bathroom decorated with antique tiles and a stone sink. The suite boasts two balconies that open to a magnificent terrace, offering sweeping views over Positano’s beach. The Isabella Suite follows the villa’s Baroque theme, featuring frescoed ceilings and a private bathroom adorned with antique majolica tiles. The suite’s terrace overlooks the sea and the Chiesa Madre, offering a serene spot to enjoy the surrounding views.

The Praiano Attic Suite offers an unforgettable view of the Mediterranean horizon. The picturesque window provides a breathtaking vista extending all the way to Praiano, and the bathroom is decorated with antique majolica tiles. The suite also features an intimate terrace that overlooks both the sea and the garden, making it a perfect retreat for those seeking tranquility.

The Positano Attic Suite is a romantic, ensuite room tucked beneath wooden eaves and decorated in a welcoming Mediterranean style. It features a large window that frames a stunning view of Positano and the lush villa gardens, filled with orange and lemon trees and flowering bougainvillea, creating a vibrant and peaceful retreat.

The Single Room is designed for young guests, personal staff, or child minders. This cozy space is decorated with antique majolica tiles and offers a private bathroom located on the landing. It is a perfect option for those requiring a smaller, more intimate space while still enjoying the luxury and charm of the villa.
