The house was originally constructed by Venetian architects around 1808, as a residence for Admiral A. Miaoulis, and was then restored between the years from 1993 to 1997. Today this impressive Greek villa rental is listed as a monument by the Greek Archaeological Society. The accommodation is in a main building and two single storey outbuildings, with all the original decorative elements, i.e. painted ceilings, wooden beam ceilings, apses around windows and doors, and cupboards, sympathetically restored.
The three different buildings are linked via a large tree-covered patio, furnished for dining and relaxing outdoors. The main house consists of a large entrance hall, living and dining area, and two spacious bedrooms. Large windows provide great views to the sea and the surroundings. The eastern building has two double bedrooms, as well as a living-dining area in-between. The southern building consists of a small seating area, two double bedrooms and kitchen, as well as an independent space with desk. A door from this building leads up to the large veranda with a breathtaking view to the sea and garden.
