Villa Baulieu

This magnificent historic villa dates back to the 17^th century and sits within a vineyard estate of 300 hectares and within easy reach of both Aix en Provence and the Luberon with its pretty hilltop villages. Villa Baulieu is an architectural gem and its interiors have been restored to the highest of standards as well as displaying antique original furnishings. There are 12 regally appointed ensuite bedrooms that accommodate up to 24 people.

Among the outstanding features of this luxury villa rental in South of France, there are wide landscaped gardens, a generous sized heated swimming pool and even a whirlpool bath at the top of one of the towers overlooking the vineyard.

12 bedrooms – up to 24 guests

The main residence spans on 3 levels and is connected via lift while the East Wing is just a few steps away. All the bedrooms of this fully air conditioned luxury Provencal villa feature a coffee machine, a kettle, a minibar and a Dyson hairdryer. Bedroom 11, situated in the South Wing also offers an extra single bed, ideal for a child.

Ground floor

Kitchen: the kitchen is separated from the living areas and has a traditional rustic feeling and boasts a large dining table that can seat up to 24 people.

Dining room: this stunning formal dining room features a dining table that seats 20 people and a baroque style fireplace.

Living room, the TV room and library are also located on the ground floor of the Main Building. 

There is also an orangerie (veranda) on the ground floor of the West Wing that features four separate bistro tables available for guests. Both the orangerie and the living room have direct access to the garden of the villa.

First floor

Bedroom 1 (52 m2): this bedroom features a king size bed, an armchair, a wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a bath. This bedroom overlooks the internal courtyard.

Bedroom 2 (50m2): this bedroom features a four postered king size bed, regal sofa that seats two guests, a wardrobe and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a bath. This bedroom overlooks the honour courtyard.

Bedroom 3: (72m2): this spacious bedroom features a king size bed, an armchair and a separate living room that seats four guests, an elegant working escritoire. Its ensuite bathroom offers a shower and a bath. This bedroom overlooks the garden and is connected to the honour lounge.

Second floor:

Bedroom 4 (29m2): this bedroom features a king size bed and a vanity dressing table. Its ensuite bathroom offers a bath tub. This bedroom overlooks the internal courtyard.

Bedroom 5 (30m2): this bedroom features a king size bed and a desk. Its ensuite bathroom offers a shower and a bath tub. This bedroom overlooks the internal courtyard.

Bedroom 6 (30m2): this bedroom features a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom offers a shower and a bath tub. This bedroom overlooks the honour courtyard.

Bedroom 7 (30m2): this bedroom features a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom offers a shower and a bath tub. This bedroom overlooks the honour courtyard.

Bedroom 10 (60m2): this bedroom offers an antique king size bed that can be converted into twins and an ensuite bathroom that offers a shower and a bath tub. This bedroom overlooks the garden.

South Wing

This separate guesthouse is situated a few metres away from the main residence with separate access and is accessible via the internal courtyard.

On the ground floor  there is a living room, a hammam and a cigars lounge.

Bedroom 11 (60m2): this bedroom is ideal for a small family. It offers an antique king size bed, a distinct lounge that features a sofa bed and an ensuite bathroom that offers a shower and a bath tub. This bedroom overlooks the garden and the internal courtyard.

Bedroom 12 (55m2): this bedroom offers a king size bed, a cosy sitting area with an armchair and a coffee table, an elegant painting a drape curtains. Its ensuite bathroom offers a shower and a bath tub. This bedroom overlooks the garden.

Immersed in the perfectly landscaped garden that features a maze inspired area and a regal fountain, there is the fantastic swimming pool at the disposal of the guests.
