Situated in a private and quiet location facing the Les Alpilles mountain range, this luxury villa to rent in Provence is just a short walk to the entrance to the beautiful town of Saint Rémy de Provence, and approximately 15 minutes’ walk to the town centre. A 7 minute drive to the north, is the charming Provençal village of Eyragues with its Friday market, and around 20 minutes drive directly south, on top of a rocky plateau, is the picturesque and historic fortified village of Les Baux de Provence.
The luxury holiday rental is set in beautiful park-like grounds of 2 hectares, with well-tended gardens fringed by ancient trees, and a swimming pool (16m x 6m) with security cover and pool alarm. Outside the villa there are two large plane trees, and the lawned gardens, with a lavender field beyond, with a small stream flowing through. There is also a field of olive trees in the background.
Originally an old Provençal farmhouse dating back 200 years, the spacious interiors (360m2) have been renovated sympathetically, retaining the historic Provençal charm, including original beams and antique furniture, and even a table football from the 50’s. The spacious living room has comfortable sofas, a fireplace, and an office area. There are furnished terraces for dining outdoors, and relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying the views.

A spacious fully equipped open kitchen leads to the living room, as well as a TV area. There is also a wine cellar. Master bedroom (50m2) with bathroom and a large dressing room, opening to a private terrace.
First Floor:
3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms sharing a large bathroom.

There is a small independent apartment , accessible from the garden, with a spacious bedroom and a bathroom, as well as a kitchenette and living area – ideal for those wanting a little more privacy, or those bringing staff.
