Avenue de Montespan 10 – 12 Bedrooms | 5 Bedroom
A recent visit to Paris included a visit to three of the most outstanding properties we have for rent there – one of which is an entire 5 bedroom villa with swimming pool and roof terrace in the popular residential 16th district, in Avenue de Montespan, just a few minutes walk from the Rue de Pompe metro, the Trocadero and the Avenue Victor Hugo.
Over six levels in total (with lift access), and beautifully planned right down to the smallest detail, the rooms feature elegant antique, as well as modern designer furniture, and works of art (the art is also available for sale). One of the most extraordinary features is a heated counter-current swimming pool on the lower ground floor, the level of which can be adjusted to guests’ needs, and can also be covered to become a home cinema, dance floor, or space for yoga/pilates. There is also a hamman at this level.
The next level has the main entrance to the building and a fitness room and two of the five bedrooms. The other three bedrooms are on a mezzanine and the second floor, with the living/dining room and kitchen (opening to a terrace) are in between on the first floor.
As if it couldn’t get better, this amazing property also has a spacious private furnished and plant-filled terrace on the rooftop. Complete with a summer kitchen and dining area, this is perfect for a gourmet experience with a chef, or a private music concert, while enjoying beautiful views over the rooftops of Paris. With a full time butler on call, many Parisian experiences can be arranged, including a chef, wine tasting, piano recitals, art gallery and museum visits.
Rue Jean Goujon 1 – 3 Bedrooms | 2 – 6 Guests
Next stop was the beautiful Hotel Villeroy in Rue Jean Goujon in the 8th arrondissement – it is a wonderful location within the very desirable ‘Triangle d’Or’, between the Champs-Elysées, Avenue George V and Avenue Montaigne with its renowned couturiers, boutiques and restaurants, as well as being just a few minutes’ walk from the Seine and the Pont d’Alma. Although still being decorated while I was there, the common parts and one of the two apartments were totally finished so I was able to witness the beauty, the standard of craftsmanship and the intimacy of this very special boutique hotel.
The entrance to this historic building is into a beautiful lobby with an atrium providing light, and an original curved staircase leading to the upper floors (there is also lift access). The very spacious and exquisitely furnished apartments are on the first floor and the third ‘penthouse’ floor. Each has a large bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a very generous open-plan living/dining room and well-equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy hotel facilities including a very atmospheric bar/dining room with floor-to-ceiling wood panelling and an all day menu, as well as access to a spa, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, a gym, and a private heated terrace. Moreover, the service of a dedicated team of highly experienced butlers is on hand at any time of day or night.
With just 11 bedrooms (including the two apartments), two other bedrooms on the same two floors as the apartments can also be rented for extra guests. In particular, on the third floor ‘penthouse’ level, the main door on the floor can be closed to create a three bedroom apartment. We can’t wait for the opening in December this year, and we are able to take bookings here for Christmas 2019 onwards!
Rue Windsor Residence 8 – 12 Guests | 4 – 6 Bedrooms
Arguably one of the most exclusive residential areas in Paris, between the business district of La Défense and the Champs Elysées is home to the exceptional Rue Windsor Residence. Exuding space and luxury, both inside and out, the villa is surrounded by a private landscaped garden.
Situated the basement, and also accessed from the garden via large glass doors, is a large heated swimming pool. Along with a spa, fitness room (with cardio-training equipment, Technogym, weights and yoga mats) and a library, the swimming pool is accessible at all hours of day or night.
The very spacious and unique accommodation here is over four floors, accessible by lift or stairs, with all rooms decorated and furnished with the finest furniture and art pieces, including many paintings and photographs of modern art by famous artists.
The bedrooms are spread out over the first and second floors, all with en-suite bathrooms, safe, and flat screen TV. There are also two extra bedrooms which can be rented at an extra charge, as well as extra beds and baby cots provided on request. With maid service, and a 24/7 butler/concierge, there are also plenty of extra services available on request, including white wines and rosé from the owner’s Provençal winery, along with classic wines and prestigious vintages.
Trocadero Apartments 1 – 4 Bedrooms | 2 – 8 Guests
The beautifully designed and contemporary serviced Trocadero Apartmentssit in a superb Parisian location at the Place du Trocadéro, with iconic views across the river to the Eiffel Tower. The ten exceptionally spacious and well equipped apartments here offer from one up to four bedrooms. Every luxury has been provided, from the Varenna designed fully equipped kitchens, televisions in each bedroom and living area, to heating and air conditioning throughout.
Some even have their own private outdoor terrace or balcony for relaxing with a glass of wine after a busy day seeing the sights. The many services here include a concierge to tend to your every need, daily housekeeping, and breakfast prepared each morning in your apartment. A private chef, massage treatments and beauty treatments are among the many options available on request.
Last, but not least advantage of staying in one of these luxurious serviced apartments is the complimentary shuttle service to the 5 star La Réserve Paris Hotel and its 2-Michelin Star gastronomic restaurant, Le Gabriel. Guests at the apartments also have complimentary access to the hotel Spa, with 16 m-long swimming pool and the gym area opened every day around the clock.
Palais Royal Garden 6 – 8 Guests | 3 Bedrooms
For those who fancy staying in a more central location, with a leafy aspect, we are also offering a newly renovated, luxurious apartment situated directly on the Palais Royal Gardens. Here, you will be just a short walk across the gardens from many of the main sights, including Louvre Museum. The Seine, St. Germain, Place de la Concorde, Tuileries Gardens and Place Vendôme.
The apartment is in an elegant Parisian building which retains many traditional features, including the exceptionally high, beautifully moulded ceilings and huge French windows in the living room which directly overlook the gardens. There are three bedrooms, all of which have king beds (two can be separated to make two comfortable single beds) and two bathrooms. There is a fully equipped living room, and a grand dining room with table and chairs seating 12.
The price includes a welcome bottle French wine, fresh flowers, use of an iPad with high-speed internet access, and staples in the kitchen. It’s one of our favourite central Paris apartments and highly recommended!
