Within a 10 – 30 minute drive away, you will find wineries, restaurants and spas while, closer at hand in Contignano, there is a pecorino cheese factory. The property’s estate also produces extra virgin olive oil and seasonal produce from the vegetable garden and orchards, including various jams and honey, complimentary to guests.
The villa has been featured in interior design magazines, such as Côté Sud, and has been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. It is surrounded by a stunning 10,000 square ft terrace, with several pergola covered areas for relaxing outdoors, as well as a covered dining area from where the magnificent views can be enjoyed. In the grounds is a heated jet stream infinity swimming pool, and a 8 x 8’ hot tub, especially designed to take full advantage of the views. The three acres of lawns have an automatic watering system. Solar panels are installed for heating the pool to have it naturally heated at 28/30°C (82/86°F) in summer and 24-26°C (75/79°F) in the mid seasons, depending on the weather.
The accommodation sleeps up to 19 guests in 6 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms in the main house and 3 more bedrooms in the annex (which can be made up as double or twin beds on request). There are four living areas, two with fireplaces, and the large kitchen is divided into two sections, one for cooking and the other for appliances and storage. Each bedroom has air conditioning and there is underfloor heating throughout. Further amenities include satellite TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, I-pod dock and free Wi-Fi internet access. There is a hairdryer in all bathrooms and baby cot and highchair are available. The newly renovated barn holds a 1200 square ft games room (including ping pong and table football) and gym, a relaxation area, lounge,bar and kitchenette. There is also a laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer.
