The fabulous Villa Argiano luxury villa to rent in Tuscany is situated in the rolling hills just 12 kms from Montalcino. It is surrounded by mature cypresses and the vineyards of Montalcino from which Brunello di Montalcino wine, renowned as one of the best ones in the world, is produced. Built in the 1700s as one of the manors of the neighbouring Argiano Castle, the building has a distinctive U-shaped structure and develops around a central patio. The sense of interior space is accentuated by the high vaulted ceilings.
The impressive luxury villa to rent in Tuscany was recently restored with total respect of the original features of the building. The result is a beautiful imposing structure, with spacious rooms, comfortably furnished with elegant original pieces of antiques. Amenities include satellite TV, stereo and i-pod dock, and wi-fi internet. The spacious bedrooms all have air-conditioning (at extra cost) and private en-suite bathrooms.
The views from the luxury holiday rental and from the large swimming pool (14 x 7m) extend over the Argiano castle and the verdant Montalcino valley. The beautiful well-kept garden with is filled with roses and lavender, and several outdoor areas, both in the garden and in the internal patio, are furnished for relaxing and dining outdoors. There is a barbecue at the property. Guests can also enjoy seasonal produce from the vegetable garden. The resident maid lives in a separate apartment at the rear of the farmhouse, and will be happy to cook for guests (additional charge) An extra bedroom is also available on request at extra cost. On the estate there are 2 resident cats and an aged friendly dog and it is therefore not possible to accept other pets.
