Situated right in the very heart of Florence, these stunning Italian luxury serviced apartments and suites to rent are in a historic Palazzo, dating from the early 16th Century, when it was owned by one of the most influential families of the day, the Vecchietti family. In 1578 Bernardo Vecchietti commissioned the sculptor Giambologna to restructure the building and, still intact today, are the façade, and the renowned “Satiro” statue and flag holder that resembles the legendary mythological figure. Other features still intact include the exposed stone wall in the entrance hall, and , and the majestic “kneeling” windows that are typical of Renaissance Tuscany.

The accommodation consists of two apartments, three Suites, two Junior Suites, two Superior Rooms and Five Deluxe Rooms, all named after famous Italian artists. Many of the spacious rooms have fireplaces, sculptures and paintings, while modern features include bright striped rugs on the wooden floors, modern bathrooms and kitchens, and luxuriously comfortable sofas and beds, upholstered in rich fabrics and colours. Each room is unique, stylish and luxurious, while also having all the warmth and comfort of a very special private home.

The sizes of the apartments, suites and rooms vary, but all offer the following amenities: Telephone and high speed internet, air conditioning/heating, satellite and Pay TV, safety deposit box, radio alarm with I-pod speaker. Each also has either a kitchen, or hideaway kitchenette, equipped with fridge, dishwasher, electric ceramic hob, extractor hood, cutlery and crockery, a Nespresso coffee making machine and coffee capsules. Friendly and helpful staff offer a 24 hour concierge service, and can arrange tours within the city, or out to the Tuscan countryside. Baby cots can be provided and there is a laundry service on request. American breakfast is included and can be taken in the privacy of your room, or in the majestic Sala Vespucci with its wide windows, antique marble fireplace, and a communal large oval dining table. This room can also be used for meetings, receptions or private lunches. For those arriving in Florence by car, there is an agreement with a local garage that offers valet parking. Airport and train transfers also arranged. A welcome glass of prosecco is offered on arrival.

Lorenzo il Magnifico (92m2)

Majestic skylights, framed by the typical beamed ceilings and deep blue tones define this apartment, which has a bedroom with double bed (can be made up as twin beds), a living area with double sofa bed, dining table and chairs, and two armchairs. There is a hideaway kitchen and two bathrooms, one off the bedroom with a bath, and one equipped for disabled persons, with shower and Turkish bath.

Leonardo Da Vinci (100 m²)

Two living rooms, one with a stone fireplace, the other with a sofa-bed, four armchairs and a dining table with chairs. Bedroom with private bathroom and a kitchen from which you can access the private 32 square metre terrace with views of the internal courtyard. An elegant blue colour has been used for the furnishings. The first bathroom is off the living room and equipped with shower and Turkish bath, the second is accessed from the bedroom and has a bath.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TWO APARTMENTS CAN BE CONNECTED TO CREATE ONE LARGE APARTMENT.

High ceilings and blue furnishings, and a private terrace with views over the rooftops. Liviing room with sofa-bed, kitchenette and retractable dining table with chairs. Double bedroom (can be made up as twin bed). Two bathrooms, one with toilet, bidet and sink and the other with shower and turkish bath.

Vasari (58m2)

Plum coloured furnishings and large windows with a splendid view of Via degli Strozzi. Double bedroom (can be made up as twin beds).
