The beautiful newly renovated Ca’Nova 2 Luxury apartment to rent in Venice is one of four luxury rental apartments in a historic Palazzo, dating back to the 12th century. The Palazzo is exceptionally well-located, opposite the magnificent Baroque church of Santa Maria della Salute and the new Punta della Dogana museum which houses the Pinault contemporary art collection. It is quiet area, convenient for restaurants and shops, and just a short walk from Piazza San Marco and the La Fenice theatre. From its position at the mouth of the Grand Canal there are stunning views from the Palazzo over the canal, and across the lagoon to the island of San Giorgio and the eastern reaches of the Giudecca. The apartment overlooks a quiet courtyard.
The interiors have recently been redecorated in a pure, classic Venetian style with a contemporary twist. Original features such as terrazzo floors and polished wooden doors offer the perfect backdrop to a palette inspired by the 18th century frescoes by Tiepolo, with bright splashes of colour in the design details. It is situated on the second floor (with lift access). Guests will have also access to a spacious terrace on the 5th Floor, shared by guests at all four apartments in the Palazzo.
The accommodation (104m2) comprises two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. It is the most intimate of the three apartments, perfect for two, but with and extra bedroom if required. The master bedroom has a canopy bed, custom designed for this apartment. The second bedroom can be either a twin or a double. The master bathroom has a bath, and the second bathroom has a shower. Both are equipped with Ortigia soaps and shampoo, bathrobes and slippers. Further amenities include satellite TV, DVD, stereo system, heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet and a safe.
