Offering an authentic luxury tented experience located within Grumeti Game Reserve, perfectly blending the excitement of camping in the most coveted wilderness. Tailored to each booking, the camp features up to six custom-designed, one-bedroom tents, arranged to suit your group’s needs with all the luxurious comfort of villa rentals. 

Guests have the freedom to set their own pace and choose from a variety of activities to tailor their ideal safari experience and can be arranged on a whim, game drives can be as long or as short as you choose and many unique and intimate experiences await.

Set on the Serengeti plains, this private-use camp features six one-bedroom tents, each configured to perfectly suit your group’s needs. Exclusively reserved for your party, the camp is customized and set up according to the specific requirements of each booking. The tents are outfitted with functional luxury, including campaign-style furniture and durable canvas, leather, and chrome accents, ensuring a seamless blend of adventure and comfort. Location

Situated in Singita Grumeti within the Serengeti Mara ecosystem, offering guests exclusive access to a 350,000-acre concession along one of the world’s most famous migratory routes, where over a million wildebeest traverse annually.

Health Requirements: As the Explore Tented Villa is located in a malaria-risk area, guests are advised to consult their doctor or healthcare provider regarding appropriate anti-malaria precautions prior to travel.

Vaccinations: We recommend checking with your local travel clinic or travel advisor for the most up-to-date vaccination requirements for travel to Tanzania.

Distances

By Air

Scheduled flights or private charters can be arranged to suit your travel needs. All flights land at the Singita Sasakwa Airstrip, located within the Grumeti Reserve.

• Scheduled Flights:
  Luggage is limited to 15 kg (33 lb) for checked baggage. Upon arrival, guests are met by a driver and transferred directly to Explore Tented Villa.
• Private Charters:
  Private aircraft are welcome to land at their own risk, in accordance with strict aviation protocols.

• From Kilimanjaro International Airport: 1 hour 15 minutes
• From Arusha Airport: 1 hour
