Surrounded by rolling farmland, indigenous bush and pristine beaches, the villa offers complete privacy within a 275-hectare private game reserve and 25 km of secluded coastline. Located just 75 km from East London, it is also within easy reach of Chintsa, Morgan’s Bay and Port Alfred.

The area is renowned for its rich biodiversity, malaria-free Mediterranean climate and year-round outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy scenic beach walks, hiking, birdwatching, fishing, surfing, wildlife encounters and guided nature walks, or simply relax and soak up the peaceful coastal surroundings. During winter, the coastline also becomes a prime spot to witness the spectacular annual sardine run.

The Eastern Cape enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate, making it an ideal year-round destination. Summers are warm, with temperatures between 24°C and 30°C, while winters are mild, ranging from 10°C to 22°C.

Eastern Cape Castle is approximately one hour’s drive from East London Airport, which offers daily direct flights from Cape Town and Johannesburg. Helicopter transfers are available, and the reserve has a private grass runway for smaller aircraft. No 4×4 vehicle is required to access the property.
