Their life between Mallorca and Cape Town has inspired a home that celebrates effortless indoor-outdoor living, meaningful social connections and a deep appreciation for food, nature and family.

From the moment guests arrive at Villa Constantia, they are welcomed with a guided tour of both the house and its beautifully landscaped gardens. The owners have thoughtfully created a collection of inviting spaces throughout the property, each designed to evoke a different mood and experience. At the heart of the villa is a passion for gathering, dining and celebrating life’s simple pleasures. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee with a newspaper tucked away in a secluded corner of the garden, hosting a lively dinner around the grand round table, or sharing wood-fired pizzas and a traditional South African braai with family and friends, every moment has been designed to be memorable.

The expansive gardens are where guests spend much of their time, offering breathtaking views of Table Mountain and creating the perfect backdrop for relaxation and entertainment. Guests can spend their afternoons beside the swimming pool, unwind in the year-round heated five-seater jacuzzi, or enjoy games of soccer, croquet and pétanque, often accompanied by pre-dinner drinks as the sun begins to set. The swimming pool area is privately enclosed, and a pool net can be installed for families travelling with children, providing additional peace of mind.

Food is central to life at Villa Constantia. Embracing a true farm-to-table philosophy, guests can make use of the organic herb garden located just outside the kitchen, alongside a separate fruit garden. The main house spans 300 square metres and has been beautifully designed to capture a modern farmhouse aesthetic with subtle African influences. Villa Constantia accommodates up to 10 guests across four spacious en-suite bedrooms. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds, while two offer queen-size beds. The loft bedroom is particularly well suited to families, featuring a queen-size bed alongside two three-quarter beds. Every bedroom is equipped with air conditioning for warm summer nights, while underfloor heating throughout the house ensures comfort during the cooler winter months.

The living spaces have been designed for both entertaining and relaxation and include a large formal dining room seating eight guests, a spacious country kitchen with a family dining area, an elegant living room with a fireplace, a dedicated TV room and a beautiful orangerie featuring an intimate family dining space and a separate lounge area centred around a second fireplace.
