Designed for groups seeking an exclusive escape, this luxury villa estate is available to rent in its entirety, giving your group complete and private use of the entire 400-hectare Alentejo estate. The gates close behind you, the countryside stretches in every direction, and Terra Rica becomes entirely yours.

The atmosphere is quintessentially Alentejo: slow mornings with mist settling over the fields, horses grazing nearby, afternoons by the water and long evenings beneath the stars. Despite its impressive scale, the estate feels intimate and deeply connected to its surroundings. It is a place to gather together, retreat into quiet corners and enjoy the freedom of having an entire luxury villa estate to yourselves.

Terra Rica accommodates up to 24 guests in 12 bedrooms across six individual accommodations, all reserved exclusively for your group when booking the entire estate. The collection includes the, Casa Oliveira, Casa Rosmarinho, The Studio, Garden House and Casa do Guardião, offering a flexible arrangement for families and groups travelling together. The estate also offers two additional Nature Lodges, bringing the total to 14 bedrooms sleeping up to 32 guests. Set further into the estate, the lodges provide a more secluded and unique experience.

Every guest has full access to the estate’s extensive facilities, from the main pool and sports courts to the private lake, gym and open countryside. With the whole estate reserved exclusively for your group, there is no sharing the facilities with other guests – every corner of this luxury villa estate is yours to enjoy

The beauty of Terra Rica lies in its sense of space. Wide terraces, shaded pergolas and generous lawns provide natural settings for outdoor yoga, morning stretching, leisurely lunches and evening gatherings beneath the Alentejo sky.

For those looking to stay active, the estate offers a full-size padel court and dedicated pickleball court, both floodlit for evening play, with equipment available on site. A private practice area also provides a quiet setting for golfers to maintain their game while surrounded by the open Alentejo landscape.

The estate’s gym and outdoor wellness spaces create further opportunities for movement and relaxation, with wide open areas suitable for yoga, meditation, breathwork or morning exercise. Guests are welcome to bring their own instructor.

At the heart of the natural landscape is Terra Rica’s private lake, a peaceful place to begin the day, enjoy a swim or simply sit beside the water and take in the stillness of the Alentejo countryside. Guests can also access a public lake nearby, extending the opportunities to explore the surrounding landscape.

With 400 hectares of private grounds, Terra Rica offers an extraordinary sense of freedom. Walking trails wind through open fields and cork trees, while horses, sheep, cows and chickens form part of the everyday rhythm of the estate.

Terra Rica is set across 400 hectares of peaceful Alentejo countryside, less than an hour from Lisbon and around 50 minutes from Comporta. A private lake provides a beautiful spot for a morning swim or relaxing beside the water, while the nearby Alentejo coast offers easy access to some of Portugal’s most beautiful beaches.

The Comporta region is known for its wild Atlantic coastline, endless rice fields, pine forests and excellent seafood, combined with a relaxed and understated atmosphere. Guests can explore Praia da Comporta, Praia do Carvalhal, Praia da Galé and Praia de Tróia, or venture inland to historic towns such as Évora, Alandroal and Vila Viçosa.
