Villa Spinaltermine is a wonderful property accessed by a 3 kms private road making it a perfect exclusive haven with magnificent views over the private nature sanctuary of the estate of Reschio. The grounds, pool area and garden offer several places to sit or dine in shaded or open locations depending on the season.

The accommodation is in two buildings: the Main House with four bedrooms and a one-bedroom Guest Annexe. This light and spacious home is elegantly furnished and the large open-plan kitchen sitting room is ideal for entertaining. A 15 x 4 metre heated infinity swimming pool, with changing room, kitchenette, covered sitting area and a dining area under a loggia makes for a perfect place to relax with all facilities at hand.

Around the villa, you’ll find cypress-lined avenues perfect for gentle strolls, historic castle chapels to explore, and the estate’s abundant orto, where seasonal produce is freshly harvested. The landscapes of Umbria and Tuscany inspired the canvases of the Renaissance painters, and exploring the hazy hills, medieval hill-top towns, museums and art galleries is a rare treat.

Spend time at the Equestrian Centre watching Spanish horses train with elegance, then pause for lunch at Ristorante Alle Scuderie or a drink at Bar Centrale. Cool off with a swim in the estate’s lake, followed by a picnic in the lakeside cabin. For more activity, take on the resident tennis coach on the Astroturf courts. As the day draws to a close, enjoy cocktails in the Palm Court at the Reschio Hotel, or savour a sunset dinner at Ristorante Al Castello, when the surrounding Etruscan hills glow with enchantment.

Within an hour’s drive of Reschio are the spellbinding towns of Assisi, Arezzo, Cortona, Gubbio, Perugia and Siena. The long summer season, meanwhile, is alive with open-air concerts and opera, as well as little seasonal festas held in villages and towns.
