The ground floor of the Castle welcomes guests with a grand entrance hall, featuring a striking contemporary staircase that sets the tone for the blend of history and modern design. To the left, a warm and inviting living room offers a fireplace, billiard table, four armchairs, and a comfortable sofa, with doors opening to a terrace overlooking the Tuscan landscape. Beyond lies a fully equipped contemporary kitchen, designed for shared meals and celebrations, with its own entrance and a guest toilet.

The first floor, accessible by eighteen steps or via two external staircases from the courtyard, opens onto a stylish landing with a writing desk. Six more steps reveal a salon-style living room with a historic fireplace, elegant seating, and a large dining table, leading out to a charming terrace. The Farmhouse, located just steps from the main Castle and accessed via the courtyard, adds further charm and flexibility.

The grounds offer a wealth of beautiful areas to spend time with family and friends. The courtyard and the terrace are well-appointed with sofas and outdoor seating, whilst the shady pergola offers the perfect spot for ‘alfresco’ dining. The heated swimming pool has a separate shallow area perfect for children. It is surrounded by chic sun loungers in a charming location, with views over the medieval terraces to the fields and oak forest beyond.

The Farm House

• La Chiocciola: 2 x double beds (160cm x 195cm), shared bathroom
• Il Bruco: 1 x grand king bed (180 x 195cm) or 2 x twin beds (90cm x 195cm), shared bathroom (some distance away, works best as family suite with La Lupa)
• La Lupa: 1 x double bed (160 x 195cm), en-suite shower

Please Note: 2 cots for infants available which can be placed in any of the rooms apart from those in the tower. We particularly recommend il Nicchio and La Chiocciola as they have plenty of space.
