Full Description
Dating from the 17th century and completed in 1731, Château d’Estoublon is a true architectural jewel. Its elegant façade and rooftops are listed on France’s national registry of historic monuments, while its heritage has been carefully preserved throughout. Available exclusively for private hire, the château offers a rare opportunity to experience the grandeur of a historic Provençal estate with the privacy, comfort and personalised service of a world-class luxury villa in Provence.
Set across 1,500 m² and extending over three floors, the château accommodates up to 20 guests across 10 beautifully appointed suites and bedrooms. Each room has its own distinctive character, combining authentic architectural details with sophisticated contemporary design. Parquet floors, ornate mouldings, marble fireplaces, elegant fabrics and carefully curated furnishings create an atmosphere of timeless Provençal elegance, while underfloor heating and discreet modern amenities ensure complete comfort.
The interiors have been overseen by renowned interior architect Christophe Tollemer, creating a refined dialogue between the château’s historic identity and the modern elegance of the Airelles collection. Parisian fabrics by Pierre Frey, handcrafted chandeliers by Lustrerie Mathieu and contemporary works of art add a sophisticated yet intimate feel. Despite its grandeur, the château retains the welcoming character of a private family home, making it an exceptional setting for memorable gatherings with family and friends.
The 10 bedrooms comprise six rooms with en-suite bathrooms and four with shared bathrooms. Three en-suite bedrooms feature king-size beds, while the remaining three have queen-size beds. Each bedroom has been individually designed with distinctive furnishings and a carefully considered ambience, reflecting the château’s rich history and Provençal surroundings.
Designed for relaxed and sociable living, Château d’Estoublon offers a wonderful collection of private spaces in which to gather, entertain and unwind. Elegant living and dining rooms are complemented by a private billiard room, home cinema and bar, while outdoors, a heated swimming pool is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. The enchanting rose garden provides a tranquil spot to relax and enjoy the Provençal sunshine.
Wellness and recreation are equally well catered for, with a private hammam and fully equipped fitness room available to guests. Days can be spent relaxing beside the pool, enjoying leisurely meals prepared by the private chef, gathering for drinks in the bar or exploring the surrounding olive groves and vineyards.
A dedicated team provides an exceptional level of personalised service throughout the stay. The château is staffed by a private chef, butlers, housekeepers and au pairs for younger guests, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully taken care of.
