The very exclusive and private Villa Mirissa luxury villa to rent in Sri Lanka, situated in the Mirissa area, enjoys an elevated south facing location on a cliff top, with stunning sea views. A stone path leads through tropical plants and along a frangipani flanked walkway to the entrance to the villa. Steps lead down from the villa to a private beach side garden and yoga sala, with direct access onto a largely deserted beach.

The terraced gardens offer cliffside pavilions with seating, and sunrise and sunset meditation pavilions. A dining terrace has overhead fans and sea views. Within the grounds there is also a rectangular infinity edge pool with terraces at both ends, furnished with sun loungers.

The accommodation comprises an open-plan living/dining room with four high arches, high ceilings and overhead fans. Hanging from the centre of the ceiling is a large iron chandelier adding to the grandeur. Extending out from the main living space towards the sea is a veranda, with a dining table, wicker furniture and a day bed, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the view.  On the mezzanine level is a small TV room with satellite TV and DVD, books and board games. Four of the five bedrooms share the top terrace with the sitting room and large veranda, whilst the fifth bedroom is accessed from a lower level terrace. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. In addition, there is a well equipped kitchen and staff quarters.
