From its location on a large estate, the Villa Caminata luxury villa to rent in Umbria sits in a beautiful landscaped garden, with wonderful views over the countryside. As well as a peaceful location, a wide range of local experiences for guests are available on request. A concierge team is available to arrange everything from in-villa spa services, cooking lessons, wine tastings, biking trips, truffle-hunting excursions, day trips to nearby hill towns, or a round of golf at the adjacent 18-hole Antognolla course. With a small grocery store just a 2 minute drive away, and the village of Pierantonio, a 10 minute drive, guests can purchase local produce to cook at their villa, or request a private chef, or enjoy delicious typically Umbrian dishes at the estate’s restaurant, Il Caldaro. A shuttle service to the restaurant for dinner can also be provided.
The accommodation at the luxury holiday villa rental in Umbria is in a main house, with six bedrooms, and a one bedroom cottage in the garden. The main villa features a spacious living room with a cosy fireplace, an elegant dining room with terrace access, a well-equipped country kitchen. and a spacious laundry room. The traditional charm of the villa is evident in the high beamed ceilings and terracotta floors throughout. The many amenities include a large LCD TV with Sky satellite television and sports channels, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Bluetooth sound system and Blue Ray DVD player. The cottage also has its own stove and fridge, as well as an LCD TV with sports channels, and a DVD player. Both the villa and cottage have air conditioning, and there is high speed Wi-Fi internet throughout, including the garden and pool area. Central heating is available on request.
The stunning fenced and landscaped garden (10,000m2) features more than 3,000 plants which bloom at different times of the year, giving a wonderful display of colours that change with the seasons. Guests will also enjoy a beautiful private swimming pool (15m x 7m) with mosaic details. The pool is 1.5m deep, with step access, and can be heated on request at no extra charge. Within the large garden of the luxury villa rental in Umbria there are also several areas for relaxing and dining outdoors, including a lovely pergola by the cottage with dining table seating 12. A charming dining area in front of the kitchen of the main house offers the perfect place for breakfast, and there are also armchairs and an outdoor sofa just outside the living room, as well as a romantic cocktail table with two armchairs, and a barbecue area.
