This beautiful and very elegant luxury villa to rent in Tuscany has it all – spectacular views and a peaceful location, high in the hills north-west of Lucca, as well as spacious, comfortable and extremely stylish accommodation. It is situated just 5 kms from the village of San Martino in Freddana, and 15 kms from the centre of Lucca.

Dating from the 16th century, and with all the historic features retained, the interiors of both the main villa and adjacent farmhouse have been restored to a high standard, with all modern comforts. There is a very well equipped kitchen, central heating, Wi-Fi internet, satellite TV, stereo, DVD player and there is a computer for guests’ use in the Guest House. Air conditioning is also available at extra cost.

The luxury holiday rental’s very well maintained garden encircles the house and a big centuries-old oak tree provides a shady area, perfect for “al fresco” meals. There is a barbecue, and also a table tennis table at the property, as well as a swimming pool (12 x 6m). The owners have kept two farmhouses on the same estate for their own use and for the use of the multilingual house manager, about 80 metres from the villa, but in no way do they encroach on their client’s privacy. The property has its own olive grove, producing fine organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil under its own label. During low season the main house is available also for 8 people at a lower price.
