Dating back to the 10th and 11th centuries from a nucleus of small houses surrounding the Castle, the village of Trabia sits between the hills and the sea 34 kms east of Palermo. Located outside the village, and just 50m from the sea, the exceptional Villa Trabia luxury villa to rent in Sicily is an oasis of natural beauty.
The property consists of a main house, and three cottages, each of which can be rented separately, or together for up to 22 people in total.Within the beautifully maintained garden of Mediterranean and tropical plants, there are three pools on three levels connected by two waterfalls, and a collection of exotic palms. From the main pool (20 x 8m) a waterfall flows into a large whirlpool which seats 12 people. From here, the water overflows into a children’s pool (6 x 3m). Both the whirlpool and children’s pool can be heated on request. Adjacent to the main pool is a pool house with showers, WC and an external covered kitchen and dining area. Next to the pool area, an open gazebo provides a shaded area for relaxing outdoors.
The main house is on two floors and, with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms accommodates up to 10 guests. The living areas on the ground floor open to a covered terrace overlooking the garden and pools, and is equipped with a large barbecue and outdoor dining area. A further large terrace on the first floor has views over the extensive gardens. Within the grounds are three independent cottages, Glicine (4 guests), Primula (4 – 6 guests) and Agapanto (2 guests). Glicine is located just a few metres away from the pool complex, and accessed from a charming and secluded private garden and patio with dining table. Primula is enclosed in the garden 30m from the pool complex. There is also an external seating and dining area. Agapanto sits in a secluded position within the garden, with panoramic views over the sea. This cottage is also well suited to a couple with a baby or toddler, as the bedroom has enough space for a cot. For groups larger than 18 people, up to four additional guests can be accommodated in Cottage Agapanto (double bed) and in an additional twin bedroom in the Main House.
Guests at the villa are offered the exclusive daily chartering of a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) with skipper service included. The boat is moored in the small touristic port opposite the villa, and can carry up to 22 people. It is equipped with a range of accessories for the comfort of passengers, including wide cushions, canopies, shower, refrigerator, radio and DVD player. Guests are also offered the exclusive daily hiring of a rowing boat with engine. The boat carries up to 4 people, and is an ideal way to enjoy the beauty of the coast and the nearby beaches, reachable in just 5 minutes. This property is also perfect for weddings and other special events.

Dining room and fully equipped kitchenette. Living room with sofas and TV. Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room (the shower jet cabin is equipped with music and light effects).
First Floor
Master bedroom with sea-view and ensuite bathroom also overlooking the sea and the garden.
Primula Cottage – 4 – 6 guests
Entrance to living room with corner sofa bed, dining table for 4-6 and TV. The living room leads to a fully equipped kitchen with access to the garden. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with a special shower with hydro-massage, music and lights. Second bedroom with bunk beds and second bathroom
Agapanto Cottage – 2 guests
The entrance leads into the main studio-style bedroom, which has a double bed and dining table. There is an en-suite bathroom and a kitchen with a fridge freezer, oven and microwave and which looks out over the terrace.
