This spacious and comfortable villa to rent on the Amalfi Coast sits in wonderful position in Praiano with 180 degree views of the Mediterranean to the island of Capri, and to the magical town of Positano on the right. It is conveniently just 7 kms south of Positano and 10 kms north of Amalfi. Praiano is a quiet village, yet with several bars and restaurants, centred around the two main squares. This impressive Amalfi holiday rental was originally a 16th century olive oil mill which was completely restored in 2006, keeping features such as the cupola ceilings and archways intact. Entrance from the street is down approximately 20 steps to a large terracotta tiled, furnished terrace with breathtaking sea views. At night the terrace is softly illuminated with subtle lighting behind terracotta pots, and Moroccan style lanterns above an outdoor dining table (seating 8).

The rooms open to terraces and a lovely garden area. To the side is a vegetable garden with tomatoes, potatoes, aubergine, wild rocket and herbs, all available to guests when in season. The infinity pool (10.5 – 4.5m) is on a lower lever, down 20 steps and, to the right of the pool, is an orchard with lemon, plum and apricot trees. By the pool, relaxing under the pergola and looking out to the sea, you will feel as if you are in your own private paradise. There is also an outdoor shower at this level. A further terrace, also facing the sea shaded by lemon trees, is furnished with a ceramic table and four wrought iron chairs.

This luxury villa to rent on the Amalfi Coast has two levels and consists of two independent apartments, each with its own kitchen and terraces. The upstairs apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and the downstairs apartment has one large bedroom and bathroom, and guest WC. Amenities include internet access, a stereo system enabling music in all rooms, satellite TV, air conditioning and heating, and a barbecue. The bathrooms and kitchens feature a mix of handcrafted features, travertine marble sinks, old Neapolitan tiles and modern appliances of the highest standard.

Upper Level Apartment

Living room accessed from terrace via two large glass arched doors. Open plan kitchen, also with dining table. (American-size stainless steel refrigerator, a semi-professional stove, an electric oven and dishwasher. The kitchen also has various size espresso machines and a Melita coffee maker). The master bedroom with a glass door facing the sea and furnished with a 19th century cast iron queen-size canopy bed. The wall opposite the bed has built in closets and a desk equipped with a computer with 24×7 access to the Internet, a printer and a fax machine. The bathroom has a handmade Vietri tile floor, a shower, bidet and basin. The second bedroom is a small internal bedroom with two twin beds that can be joined to form a king sized bed. Spacious en-suite bathroom also with Vietri tiled floor, shower, bathtub, bidet and basin.

Lower Level Apartment

Approximately 20 external steps down will lead you to the downstairs terrace. Under a bougainvillea pergola there is a large outdoor Vietri tiled dining table, and wonderful sea views. The double bedroom (with queen-size bed) has sea views via an all glass arched wall. The bathroom has a Vietri tiled floor, bath, shower, bidet and basin. WC. Living room, with large dining table separating the living area from the kitchen (travertine marble sink, dishwasher, retro-style fridge).
