The unique and character-filled La Torre di Positano luxury villa to rent on the Amalfi Coast is a restored historic watch tower dating back to 1280. It sits in a prime location with panoramic views of the sea, Positano, Capri and the Amalfi coastline, yet is just a short walk from the centre of Positano. It is one of five small luxury rental properties near Positano set within a private garden complex amidst four acres of terraced gardens and orchards. The gardens include olive, lemon and pomegranate trees, ancient carob trees, bougainvillea vines, jasmine and plumbago, as well as a herb garden full of basil, parsley, sage, oregano, mint and rosemary. A small shared pool is available for use by all guests at the properties here. There are private steps (about 200 steps) leading down to a small sandy beach.

Guests will love living in this unique 13th century watch tower with panoramic views from its terraces and its beautiful authentic furnishings. It is accessed by a private walkway, up stone steps and into the main circular tower room, with a pretty four poster king size bed, as well as plenty of seating, a decorative fireplace and sea views. There is a shower room accessed down a spiral stone staircase from the main room.

There is also an annex with a tastefully furnished living room (with trundle bed for one or two people), a kitchenette, and another bathroom. The tower and the annex are linked by a large terrace, which is furnished for dining outdoors, or relaxing on a sun lounger and enjoying the views. Amenities at the property include cable TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet. Baby cot and high chair on request.
