Situated in the oldest and most central area of the town of Amalfi, this luxury villa to rent dates back to the 15th Century. As well as benefitting from wonderful views over the coast and sea, the property is just 150m from the famous Piazza del Duomo di Amalfi at the centre of the town. At the foot of the famous stairway to the Duomo, you will find shops, bars, and restaurants with outdoor tables. Down by the sea, the main Piazza Flavio Gioia, the terminal for buses that connect all the villages along the Amalfi coast, and also the port to board ferries to Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples, and Salerno, is also a 7 minute walk from the villa. It is reached by walking through a narrow public walkway that includes approximately 100 steps.

From its elevated position, the luxury holiday villa rental in Amalfi enjoys views over the beautiful Moorish bell tower, the rooftops of the town centre and the sea. Just 5 steps up from the living room, there is a furnished terrace, equipped with a small dining table, sun loungers, a sun umbrella and an outside shower, with a fantastic view over the coast and town. On a lower level, there is a swimming pool, also benefitting from the beautiful sea views. (The pool size is 10m x 1.90m, and depth is 0,50m – 1.60,)

The interiors of the luxury villa to rent in Amalfi have been recently refurbished throughout to provide very comfortable accommodation. The rooms on the ground floor level have hand made floor tiles, and the bedrooms on the first floor have parquet flooring, and feature sloping ceilings with exposed wooden beams.  The spacious living room has satellite TV, and both a CD and DVD player, and opens to the terrace.

Please note that a car is not necessary for a stay at this villa, but there are stairs involved in reaching the property from the town. However, if you arrived by car, there is a private parking area around 400m away from the villa for a daily fee of €20. A porter service can be arranged to help with luggage on arrival and on departure.

From April until end of October, ferries and hydrofoils sail daily from Amalfi to Capri (½ h), Positano (20 mins), Naples (2 h) Sorrento (1 ½ h) Ischia (2½ h) and Salerno (1 h)

Living room, leading to terrace. Kitchen, equipped with five-burner gas stove with electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave , dishwasher, and a dining table seating 6 people. Laundry area with washing machine and ironing facilities. Bathroom with basin, bath and a WC.

First Floor

A wooden staircase of 12 steps leads up to the first floor where there are 4 double bedrooms each with private bathroom.
