This luxury and very special holiday villa rental has been built as an authentic windmill, situated in the countryside in Santorini between the capital, Fira and the traditional town of Oia. It is a peaceful and quiet location, surrounded by white Cycladic architecture, green vineyards, and the blue sea. The nearest beach, Pori, with its black sand, and safe swimming, is 700m away. Access to restaurants, supermarkets and the famous caldera view are only 10 minutes drive away.The windmill benefits from a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea and the islands Ios, Naxos, Koufonissi, Amorgos and Anafi. It is close to the other two windmills we have for rent here (Windmill Green and Windmill Blue), so two or three can be rented together for larger groups.

This villa to rent of Santorini's interiors have been designed in a minimalist, yet artistic style, using ecologically friendly materials where possible. The circular architecture of the windmill allows for space and traditional painted cement floors and soothing pastel colours enhance the feeling of peace and relaxation. The bedrooms have been furnished in a romantic style with built-in double beds with ecological mattresses, an upper mattress, feather pillows and air conditioning. The bathrooms within the Greek villa rental are also very pretty and provided with hair dryers. The living room is well equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, CD player, telephone, internet access and safety deposit boxes.

Outside on the terrace is a bean-shaped swimming pool with hydro-massage facility for four people. A nearby pergola covered dining area is perfect for dining outdoors and fresh produce can be used from the Windmill’s garden.
